Taking a break from study always leaves me wanting more mind-fuel at the end of about three weeks. After being completely over it, I can't stop thinking about my next semester adventure. I'm a sucker for challenges .. when I'm not doing them. I'm ready to dive back in now, with a clear head ready to sponge. It's so funny, I've said to myself just this hour that I'll totally get into this time, take it right on from the start, pace myself and get an excellent schedule going that'll have me ready, rolling and totally prepared for the end of semester. Bahahahahahahaha.

*wipes tear* ... Five years in and I've said it every time. I've never even come close to pulling that off.

Drinking too much doesn't exist. If you're aware of the amount you're drinking, then you're probably in the safe range. One must let loose at times, find absolution though distortion, or some other such philosophical jumbo.

Did I tell you I thought you lived in Sydney? I really did. I asked TFOK how you were, when I was in Sydney last weekend, and he laughed at me. Clearly I deserved the heckle. I now understand why you weren't available for coffee...

It was advertised as a photography and poetry book about Haight Ashbury (I figured I could look at the pretty pictures and ignore the poetry ), there was no mention of religious anything in the item description. It had a few photos of "children of god types" looking like they were being raptured

I think I would be an ultra conservative stripper, meaning that I love acid lurid lingerie with stars and spangly bits, Aerosmith and GNR (I could definitely lapdance to "welcome to the jungle"). The only thing I don't like is big hair and pancake makeup. I love it when they use dodgy props, I saw a teddy bear snake in an act once, it didn't really work

God the flu sucks doesn't it, worse than I ever imagined. Sensitive skin sucks balls also... to put it crudely!
The pain has come and gone all week, it was agonising yesterday but has eased enough for me to go to work and buy some new daycare clothes. I'm looking forward to the weekend already!
I'm lucky to have a group of kids at work that always seem to cheer me up when I'm down or sick, even if they don't do it intentionally. Beautiful
