I think as a kid I was sat down in front of the TV and even tho I loved the Three Stooges, I was keenly aware that they were simply a poor man's MArx Bros. Harpo really got me going (except when he played the harp, I always wanted that part to go away as a kid) and Chico was my second fav. He actually played the piano funny. You are not going to believe this but my mom knew Groucho and I have a picture not 5 feet from me, of myself and my 2 best friends dressed up as the Marx Bros. taken WITH Graucho on Haloween. It had to be like 1974. It's insane that I have that photo.

I knew we were going to Groucho's house but until I got there, it didn't hit me that it was GROUCHO. He was very old then and I expecred him to look like Rufus T. Firefly. When he didn't I was kinda scared. Honestly, I think that's the first time I understood people aged and got old. Anyway......

the exhibit was amazing. one of the most incredible things i've ever seen. i'm going to write all about it in my journal tonight or tomorrow. i don't know, i'm pretty beat. i also ate at pinks hot dogs on melrose for the first time today. it was pretty good. im not a chili dog guy but i enjoyed it. and that place has been there the way it is now since the 40's.

i don't think we've talked about mingus. and yes, i have that film on dvd. he is one of my heroes.

heh...28 is round 82...and our daytime is reaching 35 (so about 90ish) and our barometer has been 75% + for the past 4 days.

things went alright with the girlie. she was using me as a comparison to how she felt about her b/f whom she was having a break with. and i guess she figured there's some things that she still wants to work out with him cuz she ended it earlier today

no big deal to me really. i knew from the start that she only wanted to figure things out with her feelings because she was honest about it. its too bad for her cuz her b/f was treating her like crap and i would have dropped anything i was doing to go see her anytime she needed it. but meh - her loss is my bachelorhood.

sorry about that confusion. i was using my neighbors wireless internet (without them knowing) and they put a password on the router right as a imed you. i then had to switch to my roomates computer (hense the other screen name). i guess its time to actually buy a wifi router. ugg.
