Hrm... so yeah, it's summer. I'm taking my Java 2 course, which is kind of fun. A bit challenging, but it's not hard enough. I'm helping teach class I think... Everyone keeps asking me how to do stuff... and I'm like... damn, read the book or look it up.
Oh well.
Got my tongue pierced. Not really so much cause I wanted it done, but because my friend (who apprentices at Alex's tattoo [which btw, is the best place to go to in sw VA]) needed some practice and did it for pretty cheap.
Took a while to get the swelling down (about a week now and it's good).
Remember kids, lots of ib profane (sp?) and icecream! and water... only water... it sucks having a limited diet cuase your tongue is too big to fit in your mouth :-P
Anyway, I've noticed me and several others have been spending less time online lately. kinda sucks

Got my new Novation Remote 49. It's nice. heavy, lots of knobs and shit to fuck with. Can't wait to program it to reason and some other studio sw.

Great show, don't know the opening group, but the guy was amazing. Then Imperative Reaction was great... always liked their music. And the VNV show of course, they were amazing as always.
They had 2 new additions... 2 more synth players. Unusual cause it's usually just mark & ronin.
Even got to chill with mark & ronin a bit before the show.

Grrr... Well, didnt' make it to Purgatory this weekend 
and I was really looking forward to going too...
Both my freinds had sad events happen that prevented them from going and I had a bad case of allergies... I could hadrly see, let alone drive 3 hours there.
Oh well, at least some good news... I got the new VNV nation cd, and I also have almost the full Ghost in the Shell soundtrack... only need cd 1 from SAC GiG1.

the VNV cd is pretty good. A lot different, mostly slower. Not as good as burning empires, but it's good. Took a few listens to get into. Can't wait tosee them next month! WEEEEE....

So I went to see Constantine with Sarah, good movie.

She's awesome.
I didn't like Reeves as Constantine all that much, but on the ohter hand, could have been a much worse actor. I'm not all that familiar with that comic, but I feel it did it justice anyway.
Originally I wanted to see House of Flying Daggers, but it's out of theaters now (around here).
Also, I think I'm gonna get a new tattoo... yes indeed.
I think I'm going to get the engraving of the Ring on me, not sure yet where.
I really like the Mordor/elvish writing, and am a huge LOTR fan anyway... Probably see if our new apprentice can handle it
