I am back from my brief hiatus, how is everyone?

I am taking a break from SG for awhile, I'll see you after the race season is over!

It is so smokey today from all of the fires, it's hard to breath even inside.

This is what the sky looked like on Saturday:

I have been really busy this month, but that is always a good thing. It's less than four weeks until the Vineman 70.3. I should be OK, but not being able to train outside this week has got me down a bit.

Not really much to say except I have been:
*working a lot
*swimming a lot
*biking a lot
*running a lot


I am hoping for the sky to clear up again soon.

32 degrees this morning, but not cold enough to keep me from riding my bike to work, especially after two days of rain. I wonder how many people think I am in their way, compared to how many that realize I am one car that is not on the road?

All in all Sonoma county is great for cycling, and the majority of commuters are pretty good about sharing the road.

Please, if you ride a bike, obey the traffic rules. One less reason for some kook with a bad case of road rage to use me as target practice.

Yeah I'm quiet. But that's only on the outside
It's rained the past two days, which is good because we need it, and bad because I have to drive to work instead of ride my bike.

I got the most ticky tack ticket in the history of traffic violations. There is a whole bunch of construction blocking the no right turn on red signs, so I turned right and got a ticket. I am going to take some pictures and go to court and try to have it removed.

My life is pretty routine, which I actually like. I get out for long rides and such, but haven't been out to a club for a long time. I've got my feelers out for some musicians to get together with, but I haven't found anyone as of yet. I have been journaling, but haven't written any songs for awhile. It would be cool to collaborate with someone, I guess that's what I am waiting for.

I hope to get into the city soon, maybe take the ferry and watch a baseball game.

I've been really quiet of late, not really sure why.

Be good, or, not

Spring is in the air.I have a sunburned nose and cycling geek tan lines. I rode down to
Tomales Bay yesterday. I took a picture at the county line,



but didn't stop along the way for more pictures I should really bring a good camera instead of using my cell phone.

My kids and I have been getting into Alfred Hitchcock movies, so Friday night we hung out and watched "The Birds". It was awesome. Then Saturday my daughter went to a birthday party at her friends house in old Bodega, how cool is that?

I am nursing a couple really sore legs, and sipping on some green tea hoping to get some work done this morning, but it doesn't look very promising. For the work that is, my legs will be fine.
