well, still on the job hunt. kind of sucks to think things are taking this long. odder still is seeing various jobs that I have applied for yet have not had a call about. that is definitely one thing that truly sucks!
or the jobs that I applied for that are no longer advertised....seriously, how hard is it to send something in the mail at least?
so I guess I keep churning. thankfully Roberts Wesleyan has a list of school districts on their website. so daily I now go through every website, looking for their job postings.
now I wonder...should I start applying for Residence Life jobs as well? very few would pay what I would like (mostly the public schools). however, with free housing, it means that I can focus on paying off bills and having money set aside so next year I can expand outwards in my job searching to other states and areas.
decisions decisions...when did life get so complicated?
also, am I the only one who would use a reciprocating saw for landscaping and a cordless drill to tighten up the screws on my desk chair (yes, the manufacturer recommends periodic tightening of the screws that seem to loosen up)? poll time!
ADDENDUM July 18:
I got a call today from the Rush-Henrietta School District about a school counselor position...mind you, the job is not posted! hmmm....could be good!
although it is also the district with the longest school day in the county!
well, time to wait for the call-back and interview set-up!
