Happy New Year ...

Caught 2 great movies to add to top 10 of 2007 .. Waitress in the last post also makes it ****

First I saw the beautiful and spare western "No Country for Old Men" .. both Javier Bardem and Tommy Lee Jones were awesome in the movie **** ... And I really liked the ending .. Just like I liked Sweeney Todd's ending ... (although the 2 are VERY different) ..

Also saw the lovely Juno **** .. Ellen Page deserves all the praise she is getting .. and as a cross-country runner in HS def. identified with Micheal Cera's character and wished I had a Juno back then ... Great film ... The wife loved it too ...

And hopefully the cold does release on Saturday .. I really don't like single digit weather F ..

Yeah, KU played a great first half and a good game overall - they were lucky to come away with the win considering they had a very tough time running the ball.

I liked Waitress a lot this year. Just a really sweet and warm film, simple but slick and eye-catching when it needed to be; though it's tough to watch and not feel a sharp sadness for Adrienne Shelly.

Oh I so want to see Sweeney Todd and Juno. I'm going to have to see if one of my girlfriends will go with me. I don't think feerlessfreddy would be a fan of either haha.
As far as the lap band goes, I'm leaning more towards that one than the bypass. There's so many less complications. Of course, it's also not permanent so if there are complications, it's an "easy" enough fix. But all of that flies right out the window if my copay is going to be $11K. blackeyed I'm just waiting to hear from the Dr. office to see if my "extenuating circumstances" make my insurance pay for more. (which is possible I guess.)
Thanks for the feedback. And have a happy happy new year!
xoxo
