Snob? Maybe. But what in my post is really that bad? Is it that I want my peers to have a basic understanding of probability or know about lambda expressions - material that required for most CS programs? Is it that I want people to look stuff up before they come ask? Or is it that I want people to take responsibility for their mistakes? That I want them to know how to do more than run the wizards in the IDE? Is it that it's too tough to have a passing familiarity with Turing Award winners? I just don't understand.

Is it the attitude? The use of the word "fuck"?

So, instead of calling me an outsider or a snob, how about you tell me where you think I have it wrong.
