I have been in my current apt. for a little over a year. In that time my spare bedroom has flooded 3x, my patio area was dug up and left for two weeks (as in a huge whole and dirt everywhere) my dishwasher quit working, my bath faucet continuously leaks hot water and now my storage closet with the furnace is covered in mold and crumbling from ceiling down. WTF!! If I call them they never come nor do they think they should give me a reduced rate. I just hope I don't get sick from all the mold. Think about it, it's a small closet covered in mold- sheet rock, ceiling and exposed studs- getting sucked into the furnace and forced throughout the whole effin apt! Maybe I can sue and quit retail.

I don't care how well you know a person, you will continuously learn new facts about them. Some you may like and others not so much. I have been dating a guy for almost two years now. I knew that he had dated a stripper in his past b/c our mutual friend gives him hell about it. Apparently she was a bit older than most of the strippers So, I just brushed it off and laughed with my other friend about it. So, the other night the subject came up and I was teasing him about his record with strippers. (thinking it's only been one) So I asked him how that came about that she's stripping for you and then you ask her out on a date?? He goes on to tell me how strippers always come and talk with him because he holds actual conversations with them which is out of the ordinary. Blah Blah Blah. I ask if he had slept with her. He said, "well..." What?! "I've dated more than one and didn't sleep with all of them." What?! How many? He said he dated 5 and slept with two. WTF? I'm not sure how I'm supposed to respond to this, but the natural reaction wasn't pleasant. I'm not saying strippers are terrible ppl and all nasty. But if you had been to any of the clubs in Bham you might have a better understanding of where I'm coming from. And even if they were all hot and most importantly clean, who goes to strip clubs to find dates?? Ugh.

Well, I close on my first house on Aug 25! I'm excited and scared. I will be paying the same as rent which is awesome. It's a 3 br 2.5 ba townhome that was just built in 2006. All of the trim/ molding/ doors are done in espresso color. It is going to be awful to move in the heat though. I think we will get going around 6am! I hope my friends accept beer and pizza for helping.

Last weekend I went out to Montevallo and floated down the Cahaba river. There were 5 girls in my group. It costs 10 bucks and 5 for an extra float for your cooler. We took two coolers full of beer. It took about 3 hours from a to b. It was actually really fun. There were small little rapids to go down. You had to pull up your ass or it would drag on the rocks! I have a huge welp on my right cheek. It could def go in the ass spanking pics! lol Of course I also got sunburned. It was a little awkward when you couldn't control where the water was taking you and you would run into strangers. My knees went right into some guy's chest. oh well. Everyone was wasted anyways. I will def go back and do it again.

So...... I found this movie on netflix. It's an independent film called Teeth. It's about a girl who's pussy has you guessed it, teeth! She's one of those brain washed teenagers who promotes abstinence. When she finally has sex, it bites the guy's dick off! No shit! Of course, all the guys are more than deserving though. You've got the guy that can't stop after hearing no, the dirty doc who takes off his glove, the dirty old man that wants a sexual favor for giving her a ride. It was... entertaining. Very bizarre.

I went to roller derby on Saturday night. It was awesome even though the Birmingham team got their asses handed to them. Those girls are brutal! One landed face first and busted her nose on the concrete floor. I used to skate all the time but was never that good. We went to the after party at a local bar but the band Velcro Pigmies was there and wasn't very good. They're pretty much an 80's cover band which is fine if you are any good. The lead singer was talking more than singing. The drinks were good though

This past weekend I had my immediate family over for a pre Thanksgiving dinner. I'm not much of a cook, but for some idiotic reason I insisted on doing everything. I spent so much money on food and kitchen crap. It all went well! I didn't burn the apartment down and people ate and enjoyed the food. My niece is such a blast. I taught her to play foosball! She rocks! Tomorrow I will go to the bfs family dinner, which is great b/c his grandmother is/was a chef. I am really just thankful to be off of work. I'm excited that the Alabama vs Auburn game is on black Friday because that means it will be slow during my shift. Woohoo! Less work for me. I am off Saturday and plan to buy a Xmas tree and decorate it. Maybe I should start on my holiday shopping I am buying my niece roller skates. I can't wait. Oh and I found a really good inexpensive wine Rex Goliath Pinot Grigio $5
