This terms lectures are over and I have almost 12 weeks holidays!

The next 10 weeks are packed with exams

To have at least a littel "holiday" I took this weekend off and spent two days at the Fährmannsfest here in Hannover. Its a small and very cheap festival which featured some Bands I like. On Friday I saw

• Stupify: Havent seen them before. Not bad, but not remarkable either


• Cella'Door: I have seen them before and enjoyed them very much. They also sold me their brand new CD


• Treibhaus: Havent heard of them before but they were great


• Wisecräcker: They were recommended by a fellow student and were great fun.



• Letzte Instanz: The last Band of the Evening. I have seen them a few times before and they were great as always although there was heavy rain after they started

I spent saturday at the Inlinegames 2008 and took pictures


and went skating in the night.
On Sunday evening I saw Coppelius on the Festival for free!

Yesterday I returned from my two week field trip. It was a 50/50 trip. 50% were fun and 50% sucked. Most of the 50 sucking % are owed to some mutated freak insect, that bit me. My right arm ist swollen, fire red and hot.
Luckily I have some pills left from the last mutated freak insect that bit me a couple of weeks ago. I wonder if they are related...

This terms lectures are over and I will spend the next two weeks in the woods on a practical course.

proof of life

I spent the last 3 days finishing a year long chapter of my life. Its sad if everything you lived for the past twelve years fits into a few little boxes that end up in your basement.

An uncle of mine was diagnosed with lung cancer two months ago and died in his sleep last night.

Just finished watching Donnie Darko and Southland Tales

On Sunday I had my first Inline Skate Semimarathon this year. It took me 55 minutes for the 21kilometers which was 2 minutes faster than last year and I finished 150th of about 500 male participants.
There are pictures available online, but the service charges 14Euro for a single digital pic As I look like I'm about to fall flat on my face I guess I'll save the money...

On friday night I went to a concert. There where two local Bands playing and the main act was Rabenschrey. I havent heard much of their music before except for some songs I found on sample cds in magazines. They where not bad, but I wouldnt go to and pay for a concert to see them again.
The main reason I went was one of the local bands. Seeing Cella'Door was worth the bucks. They played a lot new songs and the best news that night was the announcement of a new CD. They won a local band contest a few months back (which I missed because I had to talk some thru his homework) and the prize included recording/release of a CD.
