it's been far too long since i posted here. sorry.
today i have band practice. i have a band. yes.
i'm thinking of getting alaptop so i can take my sequencing software anywhere and make music anytime. if only they didnt cost quite so much. i'm thinking of getting a wal-mart special because the middle-of-the-line units they have are cheap and better than anything i've used before. best i've had was a pentium 3 500 mhz.
so anyway, last night i drank a lot of sex on the beach and felt pretty alright and today i have no hangover so i guess i'm doing well.
so there it is, work still sucks, i still live in the same place and emily is still here as well.
nothing has changed, really. but i think things will change soon.
i got a call from my best friend in nashville, he had to move his wedding up to october and i doubt my boss will give me the days off to go down there and be in the ceremony so i may not work at vista after about the 25th of october.

friday i burned a no knife cd.
saturday ended up being in iowa city doing nothing and then came home and went to a show downtown, it was okay.
got way too drunk and felt shitty. woke up feeling alright and had a jam session with the drummer of my new project, who was playing keyboard today.
went and saw my folks tonight. my grandpa bud died last night and that really sucks. i hope my dad is able to manage. so far he's pretty calm but i know that could break at any time.
i dunno what else to write. i'm here, emily's at work until 9am and i have homemade enchiladas to eat.
i know. i'll play guitar and video games.

i might be a little over-concerned, but the organizer of the iowa get-together is inactive as of yesterday. nobody else is talking on the sgiowa forum, and the meetup is three and a half hours away from my house.
maybe a little overconcerned but not likely.
