So my last post was like a year and a half ago, bet you can tell i enjoy blogging. Anyway i haven't really been much recently for a variety of reasons but I figured I should at least try look at it at least once a week.
I've been working on a super secret project. I'm not going to get into the specifics here however I'm starting my own social network based on drinking. I know it may not at first seem like a spectacular idea but trust me I am going to adding some really cool features and it won't be like Myspace for Drinking. So check back here occasionally because when i'm done i'll likely post a way for anyone who bothers to read my blog to get into the beta. Although as it stands i'll be rolling the service out in TX, CA, and NY first just because I already know I can get compressive list of bars for those areas.

Last night I had the pleasure of going to see Spike and Mikes Sick & Twisted Animation festival at the Alamo Draft house. For those of you who don't live in Austin the Alamo is like a movie theater/restaurant. So while watching my toons I got to chow down on a nice sandwich.
Over all the show was great. There were a few cartoons that I thought were just sick and not every entertaining. Although they did make me happy by opening the show with "No Neck Joe" who happens to be done by the guy who does "Dexter's Lab". I also got to check out "Dr. Tran" which was hilariously. However the cartoon that really caught my eye was "Pirate Babys Cabana Battle Street Fight 2006".
Here is a sample of what exactly "Pirate Babys Cabana Battle Street Fight 2006" is.

Reminds me of the days when I actually played video games in an arcade. The artist's name is Paul Robertson.

So its been a while...
Anyway since the last time I posted I have visited San Francisco and I went to the SG burlesque. Those aren't the only things I did in the intervening months but they are possibly the most interesting, Who would really want to me talk about my job and school work?
So I was down in SF on business and at the conference I was at they had Colin Powell speaking. I have to say that he definitely leaves an impression. He never really talked about what he was supposed to, corporate responsibility, but the did go off on how the country is doing and some stuff about Iraq. He even had a small Bush impression in there. But what was really funny was when he started talking about how much he misses the plane they gave him to rid in as Secretary of State.
Other then that SF was really nice. I can see why people would want to live there although I can't figure out why they would pay so much to do so. Seems to me that anyone living there would have a hard time saving anything. The second half of that week I spent on Emeryville CA. That happens to be a small town in between SF and Oakland that no one has ever heard of. However Pixar's HQ is there which I had to walk by ever day. They also have a Clash themed cafe, Rudy's Can't Fail Cafe that I ate at 3 times. I really love that place. Most of my time when I stayed in Oakland was spend in Berkley. That is a really interesting place. The locals would walk by and say "nug" meaning the wanted to sell you weed. I thought it was so funny I started walking by old people and saying it. I didn't dare do it to anyone younger because I was worried they might be a dealer and think I am invading their turf.
So on to the next thing you might be interested in was the SG Burlesque. That was a fucking awesome time. First I got to meet all the new people in SGAustin. There have been big get togethers before but most of the people I met a while ago either don't come anymore or moved. Anyway after drinking at Casino El Camino we went in just as one of the local openers was wrapping up. We got there just in time to get a great spot for the show. Next comes on Tsu Shi Ma Mi Re who were just as amazing as last year. Some of the other SGAustin people there doubted how good I made them out to be but they were converts when their set was over. Following that the Burlesque show started and this year I was sad that no one jumped on stage and got their ass kicked. However I almost got into a fight in the crowd. This group of people were slowly trying to push in front of me from behind me and to the right. Eventually they pushed their way infront of us and then shoved me. So I ran back at them at full force and shoved them back. This kept happening until they finally gave me my spot back but not after stealing some of the other SGAustins spots. It didn't really end there because through out the show I still have to wrestle for my spot. The only consolation we had was that when the Girls threw water and soda at us they got hit worse then me but I got both a face full of water and soda.
After the show I was even able to get pictures with Nixion and Reagan. Although I think they came out kind of weird. I was somewhat drunk and I was trying to hide my Tsu Shi Ma Mi Re cds from the picture. Hench my awkwardly placed left arm. The funny thing was I noticed that in the first picture but for some reason I did the EXACT SAME THING in the second. I also have this weird grin on my face. I was never good at forced smiles for pictures. I am probably just being way to narcissistic.

I say this over and over again but I really must update more often but I did have alot happen since last time.
I got free VIP tickets to see the Violent Femmes. I got them at the very last min. 4 hours before the concert so I ended up going with someone from work. It was a lot of fun even though I only knew "Blister in the Sun" and "American Music". I got the tickets from my cousin and hopefully will be getting more to some other shows. He bought a year of VIP passes at Stubs from a charity auction. Of coarse I only get what he doesn't or can't go to but free is free.
I was finally able to buy a new leather couch. I am so happy. It cost about $500 more then I wanted even on sale to spend but I think it was worth it. Thank god for Memorial Day Sales. Anyway figuring I would give my crapy old dog urine soaked couch to charity I told them not to deliver my couch until the 14 because I wanted to make sure the old couch was gone. Well no one would take the old couch because it was ripped. So I had to pay $50 to get rid of the damn thing and the junk collector looked like this...

except with no shirt or guns. So now I have 2 weeks with limited seating. I have a recliner but eating infront of my TV has become a major problem.
I also go food posioning which looking back I think I gave to myself. The funny thing is I once before thought I had food posioning and now after actually having it I was SOOOOOOOO wrong. I woke up Memorial Day at 3:00am puking and didn't stop for 2 days. For 3 days I didn't eat any food. When I got on the scale after all this I was 4 pounds lighter.

So here is the good the bad and the ugly.
I have recently finalized my super amazing awesome tattoo design commemorating my Jewyness and here it is...

For the last few weeks I have been running a mile each day. I hate it so much but I know I have to do it. To keep the edge off I have been doing it on a treadmill so I can at least watch TV. In conjunction with this I am cutting back on how much food I cram into my pie hole.
Two weeks ago I had the worst week of my life. It was so bad I couldn't even write about it till today.
On Monday my power went out because of lack of payment. Here is the fucking kicker though I paid it over the weekend. I learned the hard way that you have to notify them after you pay because the morons at Austin Power don't check an updated list when turning off power. They also don't seem to care that the people who are supposed to put warning notices up 24 hours before stopping service don't actually do it. They claim it is just a courtesy. So they not only left me with out power for 12 hours they charged me a $50 fee to turn it back on. Also on Monday I lost my check book so I had to got out and get a cashiers check for rent.
Then Tuesday my car breaks down and I have to take it in for service. Well it was a bad battery but turns out I need my 45000 mile check up for my warranty to stay valid. I also needed new belts and break pads. All of which was covered under insurance so I had to pay them a grand total of $1200. Because none of that is covered under the warranty. Add on to that I had to throw down a few more hundred to pay for the rental car.
The rest of the week was filled with my dog peeing everywhere because he has a problem with his urethra, me studying for my Bio final, and the normal amount of bullshit I have to deal with at work.
So that week sucked. However the next week was better because I took my Bio exam and was able to pull my grade from a D (which would have meant I had to take it again) to a C. Also My dog got on some medicine that will help with his problem although he is going to have to take it for the rest of his life. Lucky for me it only costs $20 per month.
So anyway the ugly of this entire thing is I am not back in dept and that means no tattoo for now...
Anyway since I got all this time to kill before I can afford my first tattoo I wanted to get some advice on where I should put it. I was thinking upper left peck but I am not sure. The longer I have to wait it seems the more undeceive I get on the location because I don't want to make a bad choice.

You know what is a bad idea? Turing off the power to stop lights. But that is exactly what happened here in Texas. For some crazy reason they ran this power test on a day it was going to be really hot. So they had to do rolling black outs so we didn't run out of power. Here is an idea, why don't you tell the police possibly so that you don't end up with a highway off ramp intersection during rush hour turning into a big 4 way stop cluster fuck. So going to my class Monday night was hell. Because I went through like 5 intersection like that. Probably stoping for 7 mins at each one.
Also who knew that everything would be closed on Easter. In the afternoon I went out to do some errands and this place was a ghost town. Everything was closed. The only time I have ever seen that happening was X-mas day. I can't belive people are that religious here. On the east coast most stuff is open. I also am trying to remember what I did here last year because I don't have a clue. I must have been staring at a wall for 24 hours not to notice that.

Well I just another Bio test. I think i did much better on this one but I still don't think I am going to pass this damn class. Fuck for a community college class it sure is hard. More then half the people dropped out of the class. I am going to stick around till the end because mabey the Professor will relise that failing everyone is a bad career move. At some point it reflects on your teaching methods rather then the idiocy of your class.
Anyway I really wanted to go to this SGTexas event at Sx Flag but I really can't afford it. I would have to put my dog into a kennel. That an't cheap plus I would have to spend money at the park. Here is hoping the next SGTexas event takes place in Austin or I can find someone I trust to watch my dog.
Also tonight is Passover and the being the bad Jew I am doing absolutely nothing. I think one reason is I don't belong to a synagogue. Another reason I don't have any Jewish friends. I moved here 1 1/2 years ago and met some Jews but fickle as friendships are non of them have blossomed. Oh well all things work themselves out in the end.
So I might have told you this before but I was a Cop once. Nothing major. I was a seaonal police officer. Resort towns hire people who are thinking about being cops to help out because of the influx of people they experience durning the summers. I had total cop powers but they didn't give me a gun. I did however get pepper spray (which they sprayed in my face for certification) and a PR-24 (which is that club cops carry for hitting perps). Anyway I was searching google for my name and found this. It is what I looked like then. I didn't care much for the uniform and I think the bullet proof vest made me look fat.

Do you think that would make a good profile pic?

Yet again I fail to update this page
Anyway I was in NY last week for my birthday. It was a good time. Well as good a time as you can have with your parents. I think though that I have become soft because I was really cold there. That isn't like me but I have been living in Texas for almost a year and a half. It sucks I missed SXSW but I got to eat at this french restaurant in the Trump tower and damn was it good. The meals were a large $100 but worth every penny. Plus it was free, we had vouchers
. I had two Gibsons which were alright. Although I wish I could have gotten Greygoose instead of Absolute but we had to pay for those.
I also had fun checking out the Jewish shops. It is sort of funny in NY the Jews and China town are kind of mixed but at this one point where they hit little italy there is this definitive line. One side of the road is Italian business and the other side is the Jews and Chinese.
And on the ride back I got to stop by Jay and Slient Bob's Secret Stash.

This whole being responsible thing I started doing is really getting on my nerves. Right now I wish wish wish I could skip class but ultmatly I will go.
Man does this suck going to class after working all day. I have only myself to blame for not finishing college when I had the chance.

So what does Dog + Blatter infection = ?
A urine soaked couch which I had to clean and in doing so I think I ruined it by shrinking the couch covers after I put them in the washing machine. But the couch was pretty much ruined anyway so not a huge loss. But I still hate having urine all over my apartment.
. I think I have cleaned it all up since I bought alot of this chemical neutralizer but there is always that feeling like what if i missed a spot and what if i can't smell it anymore. So I have this fear that someone is going to come over and smell dog urine. I don't think I am going to be able to sleep untill i go over every inch of my living room with this chemical stuff.
But my dog is doing good and I am alittle regreatful about yelling at him because I do now know he defenatly has a blatter infection. But you tend to act irrationally when the threat of a golden show is hanging over your head.
On a up note I didn't fail my Bio test. Thats right I got D!!!
And I am damn proud of it. But now I think I screwed up my lab exam because i thought we were actually going to do a lab and not regurgitate past experiments. So I didn't study for it.
I feel so stressed out right now I think I might buy a shotgun. I used to love skeet shooting and since I am living in Texas now I figure its a good way to get rid of stress and where better to own a gun.
