So here is the good the bad and the ugly.

I have recently finalized my super amazing awesome tattoo design commemorating my Jewyness and here it is...

For the last few weeks I have been running a mile each day. I hate it so much but I know I have to do it. To keep the edge off I have been doing it on a treadmill so I can at least watch TV. In conjunction with this I am cutting back on how much food I cram into my pie hole.

Two weeks ago I had the worst week of my life. It was so bad I couldn't even write about it till today.

On Monday my power went out because of lack of payment. Here is the fucking kicker though I paid it over the weekend. I learned the hard way that you have to notify them after you pay because the morons at Austin Power don't check an updated list when turning off power. They also don't seem to care that the people who are supposed to put warning notices up 24 hours before stopping service don't actually do it. They claim it is just a courtesy. So they not only left me with out power for 12 hours they charged me a $50 fee to turn it back on. Also on Monday I lost my check book so I had to got out and get a cashiers check for rent.

Then Tuesday my car breaks down and I have to take it in for service. Well it was a bad battery but turns out I need my 45000 mile check up for my warranty to stay valid. I also needed new belts and break pads. All of which was covered under insurance so I had to pay them a grand total of $1200. Because none of that is covered under the warranty. Add on to that I had to throw down a few more hundred to pay for the rental car.

The rest of the week was filled with my dog peeing everywhere because he has a problem with his urethra, me studying for my Bio final, and the normal amount of bullshit I have to deal with at work.

So that week sucked. However the next week was better because I took my Bio exam and was able to pull my grade from a D (which would have meant I had to take it again) to a C. Also My dog got on some medicine that will help with his problem although he is going to have to take it for the rest of his life. Lucky for me it only costs $20 per month.

So anyway the ugly of this entire thing is I am not back in dept and that means no tattoo for now...

Anyway since I got all this time to kill before I can afford my first tattoo I wanted to get some advice on where I should put it. I was thinking upper left peck but I am not sure. The longer I have to wait it seems the more undeceive I get on the location because I don't want to make a bad choice.

Wow! and Wow.

First, Wow, nice job with the tattoo. You spent alot of time thinking about it and it has turned out to ba a ass-kicking, if you will, design. Kudos and all that happy stuff.

Second, wow what a horrible week. Glad you have kept up your attitude and are recovering. Debt is a temporary thing my man, chin up.

Where to place, where to place. Well how big do you want it? Once that is determined you can start thinking about your skin, your frame and where it will fit for a good view. Stay away from bending it, etc. If you get it on your chest, remember that in the future you will need to work around it for any mural-sized work.

Hope I helped. And I hope this week finds you better off.

Despite our differences on the CE board, I am sorry to hear about the difficulties you encountered this past week.

Actually, it wasn't anonymous at all. People who hired me to model for them stalked me on SG and myspace, read my blog here, and fired me for stuff I said in it. mad

The philosophy blog(s) that caused the shitstorm were about existentialism. I'll have to go back and find it, give me a minute.

Hey kids, it's time for Existentialism Corner
with Salome Suicide
Special guest: Godot

In a nutshell, this philosophy says that life itself is meaningless, and that it is up each person to create/find his own reason for living. That is, if there is no point to life, why not just stick your head in the oven? We obviously don't, so what makes us want to stay alive?

Write a short essay (length: one comment) on any of the following topics:

*Jean-Paul Sartre: "Hell is other people." Discuss. Observations from people with roommates are especially welcome.

*Simone de Beauvoir insists that an individual must experience one's own body both through your own point of view, and through someone else's point of view -- meaning you see your body as an object in someone else's viewpoint. Does this justify or excuse treating women like objects -- specifically, strippers enduring molestation and scorn to pay their rent?

*Kierkegaard said that a general, overwhelming sense of dread is a sign you need to get your shit togther and consciously decide why you want to continue living, what positive reasons you have for living. So when I don't want to get out of bed in the morning, can I say I'm searching for meaning, or do I just need some Xanax?

Well, kids, that's all the time we have for today. Essays are due by the next time I update my journal.

Oh, and Godot never showed up, that bastard. Typical.

You should put your Star of David near your heart or at the base of the nape of your neck. Its funny how life sucks the money out of you sometimes when you least expect it. biggrin
