Damn man, when I get bored I just do things like shave my chest. (Which by the way, I don't heavily recommend it.) I'm amazed to see how much accomplishment I'm pissing away. I'm just glad someone's got the motivation!

Pardon my ambiguousness. I was referring to the computer security consultant self training you're doing. I was interested because I assume you must have some insight and connections. Usually all I see are the two year classes at some tech school, and if you can land a job it's like only $30K. 70 sounds nice. I'm pulling $47K but with massive 401k benefits. I'd give up all the extra retirement money for some extra cash flow. Just seems like you know something most people don't and I was hoping you'd share.....

MythTV sounds pretty badass. I'm not too saavy about media centers but the RSS feed sounds pretty cool and the weather option is cool too. From where does MythTV get the weather info? Overall, it looks pretty badass as I have said before. Do you mind if I tell others about your project? Also, if you're into lock picking, if you don't already know, you should download Binary Revolution's last episode, there's a cool little tutorial on hacking electronic locks if U R interested. It seems you are indeed on the inside track then. Kind of like in my work, the kids who come out of school can't do the job. Don't get me wrong, money is a great motivator, but I do love my job. I quit about a year ago for another offer, and they ended up counteroffering back and forth until I managed to get some profit sharing, which is a further motivator to do a good job. I totally understand how reputation counts for more than a piece of paper. I guess I may be stuck in my niche after all. Thanks for the heads up.

yeah, spiking, I saw some dude spike some locks via PDA in like 30 or 45 seconds on BinRev. yah, SYSTM and broken are gettin kinda water'd down but they a recent ep on Astrix VOIP server was pretty cool, I think I might set up a server and have free voice mail boxes 4 ppl that I know, when I get around to it. as for the quality of BinRev IPTV, I kinda like the quality cuz it has this guerilla style video look to it other than that it looks like they were drunk when they film/edited it huh. I've never seen SeattleWirelessTV before, I think I'll check it out. What kind of sandboxes are you using to run your pentests? I'm using VMPlayer, it seems pretty fair so far, you got any other recommendations on sandboxes to use 4 pentests?
