Since I'm never here, I decided to let my membership expire a few months ago.
And now apparently some kind benefactor has renewed my membership, so now I guess I'm back.
Thank you, oh kindest of strangers!
My album is done, the one I'm releasing under the name The Hidden Variable. The one with all of the famous authors I've been working on for a while. I'm shopping it to labels, and hopefully, soon all of my efforts will bear fruit.
Hope this finds all wonderful and well with you, if you stop by.
More often, I am on Facebook, MySpace, and LiveJournal if you want to find me...it's really not that hard, actually.
Ciao,
chris

It has been a wild year...mostly in not so good ways, but some good things have happened as well.
I haven't been around here at all for months, because, well, things happen.
Can't wait for this year to be over. 2008 has got to be better.
Happiness to all.

Happy (B)easter, to all who follow the mythology.
Sorry I've been away for a bit.
Hope all is wonderful and well with you.
I've been...busy.
A new album (completed), a new house (needs some work), and
some new twists of fate.

Hope all is wonderful with you.

the house is coming together, i am getting myself together, and life is wonderful. on the whole, i've been very domestic.
the musica is going well as well. very well. and it looks like my old band, Figures On A Beach, will finally have our music back in print, at least digitally - i-tunes, rhapsody, etc. - starting in april.
i couldn't be happier...and i wish the same for you.

Happy Holidays to the hordes who hungrily visit my journal.
I'm in the (painful) process of moving, with the help of the always wonderful Su. Our new home together will be wonderful, and I can't wait for the move to be finished, and the settling in to begin.
Big smooches, and wishes for a relaxing and rejuvenating Solstice, and a New Year that brings you everything your heart desires.

I've been a little busy, and no one really checks up on me here anyway. So here it is. An update:
Recent activity...in the last couple of weeks:
Wrote a new song with Neil Gaiman, which will appear on a cd (in the very near future...probably the beginning of November) by a wonderful musical entity called Lorraine a' Malena. I also arranged a '20's era oddly beautiful (David Lynchian) standard for it (which involved my theremin), and did the layout & design for the cd booklet. I suggest you hunt it down and make it a part of your life.
My new goth night, "Crypt" (a continuation of my ManRay Wednesday night) started tonight, and was a resounding success. xoxo to everyone who attended.
Saw "Mirrormask". Run/walk/hobble/fly to your nearest theatre for a visual experience you won't soon (either) remember and/or forget.
Went to see Dead Can Dance. Live. Why can't I get my bongos to sound as amazing? And why isn't every popular band using a hurdy-gurdy or 3?
Went to a midnight showing of an amazing Japanese lesbian nun bondage movie called "School Of The Holy Beast". Highly recommended for the whole family.
Saw Neil Gaiman do a reading and book signing for "Anansi Boys".
Saw the Crüxshadows live.
Cleaned a lot of junk from my computer, and organized my sound & music files.
Wrote 4 new songs.
Spun music at "Heroes" the Saturday night thing I started after ManRay closed. It's going well, and I'm so happy about that.
Found two ridiculously out of print cd's online that I used to own (they were stolen from me), and rushed to buy them. And won. (!) Yay for Masami Tsuchiya's "Life In Mirrors" and Blancmange's "Believe You Me". I now finally own these two treasures again.
...And I'm spending time with my hubby. Buying a house together definitely seems like a reality in the not too distant future! More developments soon!
