Highlights from my birthday party last night...

I arrived to meet Action Man's new kitten. Her name is Kitty, and she's a crazy-eyed killer!









It was STEAK & WHISKEY NIGHT at Action Man's, and preparations were well underway...

That's right, it's the fake dog turd!





After we ate the steaks (and the colossal shrimp), more whiskey was imbibed, and there was music and general frivolous frollicking... or something.





Towards the end of the evening, somebody thought it'd be a good idea to try out the new fire pit...



Even though the wind was blowing like crazy, we somehow managed not to burn down the whole neighborhood...



After everyone left and we'd put the fire out, Action Man popped in No Country For Old Men and we started watching it, but both fell asleep before the end, so he sent the DVD home with me today so I could see what happens.

No cops ever showed up, nobody puked, nobody was injured, there wasn't even a fist fight! All in all, I'd say it was a successful party!
