Last night was another Grubstreet sponsored Open Mike at Johnny D's in Somerville. Again - amazingly - I got up the courage to stand up and read. Another excerpt from my novel in progress. Great crowd. Some nice stuff read last night. It is tough, though, to stand up their and offer up your work! At least there are no hecklers! Well, next month another chance. Here's to it!
