Only a week left here and then I get to spend 14 hours in airports and cars to return to the TX boondocks. =] I'm so excited. lol I never thought I'd say that about returning to Paris, Texas; but I miss my family so much. My dad, my brother, my roomie, and of course Dawg.

Got back from my very short trip to Candela which is a really small border town of Costa Rica and Panama. My uncle's wife, Katte, grew up there and her family owns a HUGEEEE coffee farm with like 30 acres of land. TOTAL immersion in Spanish lol No one there speaks any English. I was only there for the night but wow it was a great way to really get back into speaking total Spanish. I think I did pretty good. I carried on convos and stuffs. But anyways.. Hito and Karol are Katte's family also and Hito grew up in Costa Rica so he gave us this bad ass tour of all these crazy places he used to go to as a kid.
I think I'll just skip to the pics now.

So all in all this was one of the best days I've had in my life. =] Not to mention Kate and I went out to a Costa Rican bar and danced all night, got free weed, and free drinks.
I love these people and I'm so honored that I got the opportunity to come here. It really showed me a different take on the world and how other people live. AND HOW SPOILED WE ALL ARE IN THE STATES! lol It's really a great thing to see all these people and how happy they are with things that would make others very depressed. It's alllllll relative and it really helps you count your blessings and not take everything for granted.

Wow.. Today was going so well.. =[
Now I'm drunk and mourning my poor little adopeted doggy that I had here. He got run over by a car today and died under the bush near outside the bakcyard.. =[[[[[[[[[
I cried a lot. He was my little baby and reminded me of my dog back home. and now he's dead. But I'll continue to love him forever. He was an awesome dog.
I remember when he would come over to me and just lay his head on my lap and sit there for hours. He was one of the sweetest dogs I've ever come across.

So I've started to take up an active interest in cross stitching again. lmao I haven't picked one up for about 5 years. I guess absence makes the heart grow fonder. lol Sometimes I feel like such an old woman. I have the weirdest interest in things, but oh well! I made a pattern from a Salvador Dali painting that I've always liked, so it's not boring at all. I don't see how people can do the ones that are borders or all one color. That would drive me nuts. lol
And on another note, I'm going river rafting on the Cherokee River next weekend! WOO! This might be one of the last times that people can raft there because they're going to start building a dam in a few months. So I'm pretty excited about that.
And of course I'm excited about going home the following weekend and seeing my Dawg and family.
Then it's back to the grind. I need to find a jorb and start making that dolla!
