okay so the great exodus has been delayed due to funding issues. doesn't look like i'll get outta here till at least October 1st. oh well. at least i get another couple weeks to chill online. for you fellow painter/modelers i finally started working on my Baneblade again. i tried for urban camo but its ending up just grey. with the right detailing it could look still look nice. kinda has a Vraks feel to it. i'll throw up pics once its done.
I'm outta here!! Moving back to the other coast and won't be online for awhile. Been fun, y'all!
almost done with these wretched IGs... then on to three dreadnoughts... then, FINALLY, i'm gonna knock out my beloved Thunderhawk!! YEAH!!!
here is the situation:
after nearly two years of separation i agreed to take my wife back. we live like 3000 miles apart, so we don't really have to deal with each other that often. initially she was uncharacteristically affectionate. it was nice, but a little creepy considering how she's been since i've known her. then i go home for a week to visit her and spend time with my son.
i get back and now she's back to being a full-on negative grouchy-pants. i tried to be a light in her darkness, to share with her some positive energy to pull herself out of this sudden funk. all i get in return is a cold shoulder and screened calls/texts. apparently affection beyond a hardy slap on the ass is not only annoying to her, but borders on offensive. WTF? 
well then i started getting all negative and upset. and it was really fuckin up my week. then i realized something! i'm gonna just be Mr. Positive Guy and do all the cheesy romantic randomness I have in my repartee and keep up with the lovin and supportiveness i can fit into my budget. eventually she'll lighten up, or she'll dump my ass. either way, i win.

Sci-Fi Junky Wet Dream!!
so after FINALLY getting to see the first episode of Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles i couldn't help but start digging around trying to sate my need for more. what else have i to do while i wait for the rest to download? anyway, i confirmed my suspicions of why the first season was ONLY 9 friggin episodes (that tragic writer's strike) and happened across a few other nerdy gems while i was at it:
GIJOE live action flick looks fucking awesome. Ray Park is gonna kick the holy shit outta some Cobra.
Transformers 2 is in progress. Shai Le'queef kinda ruined the last installment of Indiana Jones for me so i'm hoping this will redeem him. i can't get enough of the first movie.
The Witchblade projected to be released in 2009 is the full-length motion picture adaptation of my all-time favorite comic book series!! OMFG! there has yet to be an announced cast, so i decided to throw together a cast of my own. check it out:
Sara Pezzini (Witchblade): Elisha Cuthbert (Girl Next Door; House of Wax)
Kenneth Irons: random no-name n00b?
Ian Nottingham: Karl Urban (Doom; Pathfinder)
I'm not sure if Cuthbert would be up for the physical stuff involved, but she DEFINITELY has the look. I saw someone recommend Monica Beluci (Matrix Reloaded; Shoot Em Up), but i think she's a little too sultry for a NY cop. she'd make a great Witchblade but an awful Sara Pazzini... Karl Urban is, as far as I'm concerned THE choice for Nottingham. He can do stoic psychopath very well and could keep up with the insane stunts and such. nothing worse than a pansy pretending to be an action star.

anybody familiar with that phenomenon where animals can instinctually sense an incoming danger? usually this specifically applies to natural disasters and can easily be explained (as most animals have heightened senses that can alert them).
well i've been asking around and there is a wide spread general consensus that something big is coming and a lot of us can feel it in our gut. this has nothing to do with any bible or bible-equivalent, dead cultures' calenders, or any kind of scientific prediction, etc. its just an instinctual feeling that 'something' is coming to a close. something big. its also AT LEAST like 10-30 years away.
