I packed up everything this week, the trailer is loaded, and I hit the road on Wednesday for my new home and beginnings in Denver.
I'm tired. But I'm ready.
I have an apartment lined up in the same complex as my awesome friends. It sounds like a really nice place. Usually I'm not that into large apartment complexes...I like old houses in the city...but I am going to stick close to my peeps while I am feeling out the city.
Poor little Niko was freaking the fuck out today while we were moving things. She is sooo nervous! If she could talk, she would say, "Jeez, momma...are we moving again?!?"

Hello my dears...
Well the time has finally come for me to head out West!! Yeah, baby!! I am moving out to Denver on June 5th. Wow. It has been a long time coming, but then things just fell into place last week all at once. This is always a good sign. At least for me. In my life, events that happen somewhat spontaniously are the most welcome, and are the ones that seem to bring me the most joy. If I plan things too long, and get too organized I just set myself up for dissapointment. Make any sense?
I'm very psyched, in Denver awaits many great friends, new beginnings, fun times, a new job....essentally a new life for myself!

Hello SG-Land!
Just checking in to let ya know I'm alive and well. My internet connection is very, very slow at home, and is proving to be quite unreliable...I get kicked off if I even scroll down the page too fast...YIKES! Ha-ha! So it's kinda difficult to update very often.
I ran into an old friend the other night.
It was awesome to see him again!! Only, I ended up "babysitting" him late night because he was piss drunk (as usual) and mouthed off to this super cool lady...and then got his ass beat by the super cool lady. 
But you know...I gotta admit, it was pretty funny. In all honesty he deserved it. And you would think he would learn his lesson...after all, it's not the first time he has pushed a woman's buttons to the point of getting beat down. Poor guy, it seems like he is always walking around with a black eye, or another tooth missing! But he has always been respectful and a good friend to me, so when I'm around I'll continue to patch him up after he fucks up. I have complete faith that one day he will get it together. (okay, okay...yes I have my fingers crossed behind my back...but one can be hopeful, right?) He is a good person underneath it all.
So my question to you is this...
When was the last time you had to "babysit" a drunk friend? Or...when was the last time somebody had to take care of you in a drunken stupor???

Did ya miss me?? I have missed all of my awesome SG friends!! Sorry I have been so scarce of late...but no internet connection has had Miss Fyrestarter out of the loop.
Thanks for all your sweet comments about Niko! I will explain more about what I have been going through with her later...it makes me incredibly sad to admit that my sweet baby has heart problems. So for now I'll just say that she is fine for now and is getting the best Vet care possible!! I am tearing up now just touching on the subject. So i'll move on.
My Denver plans have been put on hold until I get my settlement from the accident. Once I recieve that...I am packing my shit up and heading out west again! It won't happen soon enough, I am so fucking ready to move! I am ready to start my new plans in Denver. On top my own stress, I have been stuck in a position where I am constantly saturated in other peoples stresses and problems, etc. And it is really getting to me. I really want to get the hell away from it all. But anyway...the move isn't very far away for me, probably only about a month maybe a little longer!! Hooray!

On new jobs & projects
Well, i have this new job. And i like it...believe it or not. It's kinda difficult getting back into the real working world after owning your own business. But i have no problem taking direction, and being the grunt...so to speak.
I am working at an awesome health food place. I actually thought i knew something about vitamins, health and nutrition before this...oh, no..i have much to learn. These guys are experts at what they do. I am impressed with thier vast knowledge of homeopathic healthcare. And, after seeing some 70 plus year olds walk in that look and act like they are only 50...I know it works. As well as the people with Parkinson's disease who show NO symptoms after many, many years of taking the right vitamins and herbs. It's amazing!! So many people treat illnesses this way, and it is the better way to go about it. Eastern medicine should have shown us that at least!
So anyway....i have much to learn.

On other things...
A good friend who lives in a beautiful cabin in the mountains asked me to help her make mosaics and murals in her home, and do some artistic remodeling. I am soooo psyched!! Her cabin is one of several cabins that surround and help to make up what used to be an art school up in the mountains! The fact that she want's my creativity, art, and influence in her home is flattering to say the least. I know her, she wants only the people who can give positive energy to her living space, and future, and I am one of those people. Yay!! I want to paint a big mural for her in her home....or do a mosaic out of found objects/rocks. The place has an organic feel to it, so i was also thinking of finding fallen trees, and sawing them in half, and making a big relief tree sculpture coming out of her wall. Her cabin/home was built by hand by the original artists at the school. An amazing place, it inspires me. I can't wait to immerse myself in this project!!

Niko is feeling much better...YAY!!
Here's my cutie-pie...
She got into a large bag of rabbit food last weekend and had to be rushed to the Vet...she didn't have to have the food surgically removed from her intestines, thankfully!! Apparently dogs can't digest rabbit pellets, and it made her really sick.
But she "passed" everything (literally) alright, and is now doing just fine! We just have to go back for the re-check next week. Thanks for all the well wishes to my sweet doggie!!!
Niko is sick... I'll explain more about it later.

Wow, I've never seen an albino deer before. Quite beautiful! This little fawn was almost hit by a car, and the people took her from the scene, (no momma deer around) to a wild life rehab. What a sweet little thing!
