Thursday, February, 11, 2010 my band The Poontanglers will be playing in SLC to open the SLC International Tattoo Convention. We will be playing at the Urban Lounge with Los Rojos. We also will have a ton of new merch. Please come out and witness the ROCK!
Getting ready to fly to NYC to be interviewed for a Fox TV Special on the Simpsons' 20 birthday to be aired on January10th. My client and I will be at New York Adorned with a film crew in the early afternoon. Life is SWEET!
So, I bought a house today.
Still can't wrap my head around that entirely, but it is done.
I own my own business, am in the middle of opening a second business, but it is still different from owning property. A tangible thing is mine..... feels good. Can't wait to move in and make it a home.

Headed to Richmond, VA today for the Richmond Tattoo Arts Festival.
It should be a good show. I have some fun tattoos to do.
Pretty stoked this week. We finally got building permits for the Gallery/Wine Bar. Still have a long way to go, but at least it is a step closer.

Many a late night has been spent by me in front of a canvas or illustration board, swilling liquor, and painting with half an eye open. I have had the sun (and sometimes the crack of noon) greet me many times as I am fighting off going to bed to work just a little longer on a painting.
It is part of who I am. My expression and inner-reflection pivot on it.
I participate in many gallery events, but I rarely make an effort to sell my work on my own terms. I have finally taken the time to create a way for me to liquidate my art from my walls. I feel like I need to shed a skin to grow a new one. I am ready to paint more vigorously, so I see this as a catalyst to do so.
I have set up a gallery for a body of my work on my website. I decided not to do it here on Myspace because that would neglect many people who might be interested in buying my work. Check it out and let me know if you are interested in making a purchase. I have tried to include all pertinent information about each item. There are details for contacting me on the gallery page, and it does not include contact via Myspace. It is far too difficult to keep up with communication on this site. If you aren't intersted in purchasing something, I still hope you will check out the work. Years of love and expression are represented in this gallery. I hate the idea of parting with them, but I want someone else to be able to appreciate them in a new setting of their own choice.

Halloween is here again, and my band THE POONTANGLERS are playing at Snug Harbor at the second annual Haunted Harbor show. We have a big evening planned, so it should be well worth coming out.

I am headed to the Hell City show, which will be held in Columbus, Ohio this year, May 16-18. The Scratch Board show will make its debut, and the list of artists is fantastic!
Chris Stuart will be working the booth with me, and "Lil" Tommy will be working in the Straight A booth.

If you are on the west coast, then I will be attending the Ink and Iron Festival on the Queen Mary, which will happen June 6-8. Also a huge show with a ridiculous list of artists. Tons of bands, hotrods, and motorcycles. Well worth the trip. Margaret Moose will be working with me.
