Back by popular demand...
I just got back from a weekend of camping with my friends and my brother and my new Sister-in-law. It was entirely too relaxing, followed immediately by a 12 hour day at work. Wooo hoo. Oh yeah... at least I'm getting overtime on my $11/hour.
School starts next week and I should probably do some running or some pushups or something so I don't look like a total lard when I hit the campus again. Gotta impress the ladies, and with my stunning lack of personality, gotta use the good looks... oh wait...
I'm just looking forward to having a schedule again. No more crazy work weeks involving 6 days of two 3 hour shifts and whatnot. I kinda miss being irresponsible, but I guess those sorts of things are for children. Whatever... fuck that... I can't wait to be a teacher so I can relive high school from the other side. It'll be fascinating. Maybe I'll make a video web documentary.
Speaking of documentary type things, I'm working on a video project in which I would embed myself with the homeless population of a city. Might be something to really let me realize what I have. Kinda like "It's a Wonderful Life" but with a home instead of being born. Yeah... that made no sense, but that's only 'cause I've been up since 3:40am and I really need to catch a few winks

Ahhh... been months since I've posted. Well here comes the navel gazing and complaining.
Is there something wrong with being shy? The second sex came into the picture of my dating life I don't want to be "that guy" so I try to be the nice guy. Which undoubtedly puts me in the friend zone with every woman I know. Not that I dislike having women as friends.
Why can't people just cut through this bullshit and just be straightforward with those that they like. Oh well... I guess a tiger can't change its stripes.

So I've come upon an issue with my use of the internet. I will be a teacher in about a year, what am I supposed to do about my Myspace, Livejournal, and all that when I'm an authority figure? What if one of my students were to find my profile here? I'd probably be fired... How lame is the fact that I'm not allowed to have a private life :/
