Yep , bankruptcy . My lawyer filed for me this week . He says that if no one contests it , that it should only take about 4 hours of my life . And looking at my situation , he doesn't expect anyone to fight it . I am now the proud owner of a 07 Hyundai Accent . It's my moms old car . She gave it to me then bought a 2010 . I guess she's decided that she likes Hyundai too . It's not a bad little car , and makes me realize how much I missed driving a hatchback . So easy to park , & better on gas mileage then what I was driving .
So , I work at the Red Cross building in Philly , and the nurses are on strike . The nurses belong to a union , while most of us working in the building don't . Needless to say , we aren't getting much work in right now . All I know is that I've been there for over 2 years , know people who've been there longer , and they haven't gotten a raise in 3 years . The nurses want a 20% raise over the next 3 years & 5 more call out days a year . So I am slightly bitter . I have nothing against anyone doing better for themselves , but for christ's sake look at the fucking economy . The only people getting rich are the one's who already are well off .
So , this has been a cheerful update . I haven't even mentioned that the muscle spasm in my neck is back & more painful than even . Because I'm sick of talking about it . And this has been depressing enough without it . Think I may have a drink tonight & listen to something to raise my spirits . Just have to figure out what .
