I finally have in my grubby paws an authentic Brewers cap. I have a well meaning friend who traveled over December and went through hell to find one for me. I owe you mate! The cap will be firmly perched upon my dome whenever I have the good fortune of watching the Brewers this season.

Hectic and speedy changes are a-coming! We just recently heard that we've been accepted into Australia. This concludes a nine year saga of ups and downs. Dodgy migration agents, loads of red tape, changes in migration legislation all aside, I'm excited as hell to be leaving for a place where I can do the normal everyday things in life without having to look over my shoulder all the time. 'Nuff said, I've got six months to do an enormous amount of work, sell my business, sell my house, find homes for our pets, find a job. Just the stuff to focus one and make everyday count.

I'm tired of winter now. We've had a particularly harsh one. By Northern Hemisphere standards I suppose it's pretty mild, but we're not geared for it here. We don't have central heating and double glazing. I long for the warm summer days and the smell of rain. Everything is so drab and beige in winter...I need green. Oh well, only another six weeks or so...global warming notwithstanding
