Thanks to those who responded to my last blog. Maybe it was wrong to compare those two sets, but they treated dark subjects very differently and seemed to illustrate a point I was trying to make. On the one hand naturalistic but ambiguous images of coercion and implied violence contrasted with eroticism, and on the other a carefully staged presentation of sexual assault and murder as eroticism in itself.
But perhaps that's not what I saw, or the problem is really just in my head. I wanted to say a lot more on the subject but I think better to leave it alone now.

By curiosity, I looked at your precedent blog and I have to say, I share your opinion, it's really a shame that Funny Games will never be front page...
