Booked my flights for the wedding in Rome. No accommodation booked just yet. I was speaking to the groom last night and he told me a lot of the others are only staying in Rome for the actually wedding and them going elsewhere, mainly because of Rome is supposedly too expensive.

Well I have a week in Italy no matter what, just need to figure out what to do. Ideally by the time September comes around, I'll have at the very least a friend who happens to be a girl to take with me. But until that miracle happens, I think I'm just going to book accommodation in Rome for the week. I not confident about going to non-english speaking country as it is, never mind trying to travel to other parts of the country by myself.
