Just found out that JOSEFINA LOPEZ is in charge of the film festival in which the little Latina DiDEF film I shot is being premiered.
She authored the supurb "Real Women have Curves".

Screenings went great - much better than I expected - and having been shot by yours truly, on HIDef video, it was shown with SKY CAPTAIN. Pretty cool.
Starting again on another HIDef shoot in December (taking advantage of the decorations), while really bearing down on the photographic side of things - it's so much calmer to shoot stills than footage....
Am pretty much ignoring Thanksgiving - simply eating out - and save the goods until Christmas I think.

Have been - you might have noticed - laying low and working this week, and on the edge from a producer - Miss Heartbreaker - who is screening her Latina Film Fest short today for cast and crew and a couple agents....I just GO if I am satisfied with the cut (I shot the thing on HiDef....but now I dunno...even with the best possible crew, and great cast one is always down to the friggin' wire on a project. ALWAYS.)
