I shot my Second SG set this past week In Glasgow, with a very beautiful new hopeful,
so new in fact she doesn't have her SG name or profile up yet -
no sneaky peek from the set just yet, but she gave me this pic to post here as a wee preview...

Massive thanks to ALL who voted for my friend Maisie's first SG set, which also happened to be the first set I'd photographed for the site, just heard from her tonight she has gone PINK and is now officially a SG and our set
shutterbug will be going front page soon, keep an eye out for it and be sure to send your congratulations to Maisie, there couldnt have been a more deserving or dedicated hopeful out there, so very proud of her.

On a personal note, this is a huge step on towards my own hopeful pursuit of becoming a staff photographer for SG,I need 5 FP's to be in with a shot, so ticking one off that list with my first ever set is a huge boost, roll on sets 2,3,4 and 5!!
Hopefully this will also kick my up the butt to blog a little more, the last few months life has simply gotten in the way, but slowly starting to get back to more fun work instead of just the stuff that pays the bills..

wow, its been 7 weeks since my last confession.
how the hell did that happen?
A busy time upgrading over to full frame DSLR and all the chaos that comes with it.
selling of old gear, scrambling for deals on decent s/h glass and all sorts of other fun.
somewhere in the middle of all of this, I finally managed to get my first set shot specifically for SG.
WIth an amazing local hopeful (SG name still to be confirmed)
But watch this space, hoping to be able to share soon.
Editing has been.....................a steep learning curve!
monumental respect to the staff photographers, It ain't an easy task to shoot then conform everything as it has to be, last few colour corrections and tweaks here and there and i'll be done.
Now time to get down to planning 2, 3, 4 and 5
