At least what I think is punk seems to be. So we're going to remember it fondly on the show this week. I miss the days when I actually used to learn something from a band (Bad Brains, The Clash, The Dead Kennedys, Iggy and the STooges, X, and more). But that doesn't go for all punk, some was just ridiculous and fun (The Damned, The Dickies, Murphys Law, Murphy's Law, The Ramones and more)
