Hey all, A bit of a thoughtful day. Was wondering if any1 else has notices that the older You get the more backwards you realise everything g is. I mean in school they teach us history should be learned from. However, as you make comparisons between governments, countries, ethnicities, centuries, you begin to notice that u can pick any age in history and compare. It with now n we are still doin the same things e were 2000 years ago if not more. So how can we call ourselves civilised.
It's kinda ironic how every civilisation called themselves the most civilised in history . Including our own) and we can't learn 1 simple lesson Fromm our histories.
Thats globally, now lets talk individually To add insult to injury. I've notice that more often than not the victims of bullies generally get punished and not the bullies. Is that not backwards? Are people blind to justice. This attitude, backwardness or propensity to keep the status quo is prevalent from the very earliest ages when children and parents begin interacting to adulthood. How little we pay attention
And it's not just the victims of bullies and thier unconscious supporters, this attitude or double standard is present in every facet of our lives whenever we choose to turn a blind eye to a mate or choose not to speak up when we should and every one chooses to be unconscious to it. They say "pfft or meh! Not my problem" or dont take things so seriuoslly. i say "Evil will flourishes when good people do nothing" and don't complain about things if u aren't willin to lead by example."
Be the change you want to see". The most courageous of us aren't the ones willing to dress diffidently or live an alternative lifestyle or what is considered as normslit is the ones that quietly stand thier and speak thier mind ven tho thir voice is all a quiver and they're peers are all saying be quiet. Curse me for it! Love me for it! Call me eccentric, call me anything you want It matters not to me, but to you
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that frightens us most. We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and famous?' Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that people won't feel insecure around you. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in all of us. And when we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.
