Hmmm... went out to a party last night. House party at Brendan's which is always good. He has such a wonderful apartment, if it weren't for the area, I'd be begging him to find me a spot in his building.

Anyhow, I brought along some good friends of mine. I dragged them out later on to Laid Lounge. I bought Robin and I shots of absinthe. It was a stellar idea... but I think the bartender put one on me and ripped me off.

Which is a shame... but I haven't spent money like that in ages. It felt good to be a little carefree -- and I'm none too damaged for it. Not much of a hangover, but I'm dreadfully tired...

my landlord decided to do some work on the foundation of the building today... in the morning... and I live in the basement. Thank God I do not have a headache or anything....
