I'm gathering we're no longer able to have fun anymore?
The silliness hates us for being too serious, and the CEers now hate us for being too silly.
No LOLcats? Are you serious? LOLcats are essential to political discourse.

The Recycling Incident
So, I was accosted by a crazy McCain supporter while attempting to recycle various goodies.
This lady was borderline pathological.
Every thing that I said to her about Obama, she responded with "that's too bad you don't know better. I hope Obama doesn't get elected so that you don't have to live with the guilt of ruining the world" (note: I by no means initiated this interaction. She asked me whether my lack of a political bumper sticker meant that "(I) have no opinions about anything."
This was after she told me that if we elect Obama we're going to either become Chinese or Iranian colonies. You know who I'm talking about--she's the one with like 6 McCain stickers all over her car. She kept asking me if I'd be OK with Chinese masters. So while she noticed I didn't have a political sticker on my car, she seemed to be oblivious to the Yin/Yang + Chinese script.
Again, she muttered something about "It's a shame, I hope you don't feel bad for ruining this country" at which time I got the distinct feel I was dealing with someone who suffered from mild schizophrenia. I smiled, wished her a nice day, got in my car, and drove off to the muffled grumblings on an insane person.
Maybe she just didn't like my Yin/Yang sticker.

Bumbling Idiot
So yeah, I just bought a MacBook Air for school and I feel like an old person trying to figure out "the damn box with lights." It just feels really awkward. I'm not used to Apples. I've been using PCs since pretty much the beginning of their existence. It's going to be interesting having to re-learn all of my short cuts.
I'll tell you one thing though. The touch pad is really versatile. It's pretty cool. I had no clue when I bought it.
Anyway, any suggestions for a new "MACer" would be much appreciated.
