One thing I like about laptops and Wifi at home, especially when they are located in opposite ends of your home, is when you travel through SG land, you know that SG's are flying all through your home... That is a comforting feeling, Hope that's not too sick!
So the visit with my sister was great.... way too short... but great... Took my brother-in-law to see the "Spruce Goose" in McMinnville. What a great museum... if you like airplanes. So all of a sudden I get emails and phone calls from all my sisters and my brother back home to see how I'm doing... just from one visit.
Had Chislic and Beer with the neighbors over the 4th... The memories of that from back home just from having Chislic was eery.

Been hard at work in the yard... getting it spruced up for a visit from one of my sisters from So Dak this coming week. Haven't seen her for 5 years or more. kind of excited about it... and a bit anxious that everything will look OK here. And here I thought my family forgot all about me stuck out here in the PNW....
Spent the weekend at Madras.... not India, but Oregon.... outdoors... in the sun... Caught way too much of it but it was fun. My sunblock 30 wasn't enough. Looks like I'll have to switch to 50. Where is the Ozone when you really need it? 
Yea!!! Got my Sony Dijital camera back from the repair and it didn't cost me a dime. So now I can snap away... again.,, so... happy times again...

Today finally feel like I'm alive again... Went to a local haunt Friday night with my neighbor since his wife was out of town... we went to Icabods and didn't leave the place until after 2 am.... I drank them out of Amber Ale, then switched to IPA and ran them out of that, then I switched to... Hell... I don't even remember... Needless to say I was wasted and so was Saturday... Haven't done that in a long time... It was about time, but I won't have to do that again for a while... I would have given anything to be Icabod Crane on Saturday... that is headless
Saw "Walk the Line" in a real movie theater.... finally. I thought it was well done... Great performances by both stars. Certain stage scenes from a distance looked so real like the real Johnny Cash. A great movie In my opinion, but I think they should have named it "Ring of Fire". That would have been a great title... not that "Walk the Line" is that bad.
