50 years?!?!? That was my reaction when I read that Canada's men's hockey team hadn't beaten the Russian/Soviet team in The Olympics since 1960. 50 YEARS!!!!
So I went into the game wondering if they would put on a lacklustre performance, like when they lost to the U.S. last Sunday.
So much for being worried. They smoked The Russians 7-3. On to the semi-finals.
So on the drive to work today, I noticed a critter on the sidewalk. I was still a ways off, and thought to myself "Wow. That's a big ass squirrel." Well I got closer and notices that the "big ass squirrel" had some white stripes. Of the skunk variety. Because it was a skunk. I had to do a double take as I drove by, and there were a few girls at the bus stop across the street that looked like they were prepared to bolt if the skunk changed directions.

I feel bad that I was boasting before the game and then we won. I'm so not a competitve person. Who feels bad when they WIN??!! But kudos on their win against Russia.
And watch those B. A. S. they stink!
