Fantastic time at Cambie last night. Reunited with an old friend and some beer. Good times.
My friend has managed to get me addicted to Twitter. Not good!

Yes, it was different that the comic. But fuck, I loved seeing WATCHMEN tonight.
Tomorrow I expect to delve into the world of nitpicks, "I wouldas" and "Alan Moore would roll in his grave if he was dead."

Woo hoo! Me and friend will be hitting SASQUATCH in the Gorge come May long weekend. We'll be there for Jane's Addiction and Nine Inch Nails. Fuckin' A!
If anyone else is going be sure to let me know, would love to share a drink!

A fun weekend is coming to an end as I relax today, my "Sunday."
I started it off by going to see the 3rd Annual Voodoo Lounge at the Bourbon on Friday. I was not a big fan of the first band, but BIG JOHN BATES was great (well, the sound system could have been better, but the energy and music were fantastic). Think a swirling mix of hot rock, burlesque and fun and you have the night summed up well. Oh, but only if you throw in lots of alcohol too!
Saturday night was Sin City, and another successful one at that. Expanding my circle of friends there is always a good thing, as is the crowd composed of mostly cool, oftentimes hot, and usually underdressed folk.
Sunday was tattoo day, in which I got my Coop-inspired sitting Devil Girl driven into my upper right arm. The outline was completed yesterday, and the color will be completed by month's end.

Hooray for open bar at a work event. Free drinks, free food, exquisite waitresses.
Boo for working the next day.
Also, just edited last post. Not sure how drunk I was when I wrote it but the spelling and grammar made me cringe

Reminded today that coworkers can be assholes. And why call centers can increase the asshole quotient since people seem to want to believe your business is their business.
The trigger was a simple one - a coworkers I know and trust let me know that - OH NO! - someone had discovered my Craigslist dating ad. Whatever, it reveals nothing more than either close friends or facebook acquaintances would know. I like girls into inks and steel, open-minded, into 420 and alcohol, creative, sexy and cool. But of course it was a big to-do because it is a CL ad.
Whatever. Didn't phase me but did remind me who are true friends and who are not.

Getting your buzz at a club, knowing you have to work early the next day... then leaving to be somewhat responsible. So bittersweet.
Here's a pic of the band I mentioned last post - Very Good performing at the Railway Club.
