I normally don't like most singers, but she did a great job on this cover.

I'm a really emotional person, not like weepy and stuff, but I appreciate the emotion in things. I'm not into things for the sake of just doing things really fancy or tricky or to show off. That's why I hate most singers. They just do way too much and don't feel the song. That's also why I like the bands I do. They write good songs, and if there are tricky parts in them, they have a purpose.

So yeah. Good stuff.

Sometimes it can be boring, like today wasn't that monumental in Gurps, but it can be fucking amazing other times. We're gonna fight 25 to 75 goblins next week. Normally we abstract it and roll a couple of times to see how we do overall, but Hank is gonna have us do the entire battle.

I finally finished reading my Highschool of the Dead omnibus. It was pretty damn good. I need the next books. I thought it was funny that in a section that goes into the characters and concept art they showed the girls' boob sizes. haha Good times.

Oh, and btw, Psychostick will be coming here May 10. Ya know, that's all. Only a popular underground-ish metal band known all over the country-ish. lol

It's fucking sad me, Matt, and Oreo never got the band anywhere. We were pretty damn good. We had the talent. Logan, who doesn't like metal or really much aggressive music, said we were good. Fuck!

Matt and I still do music things, but not very often. I sometimes will have him come over and record riffs and stuff, but that's mostly it.

I'm tired from moving my recording stuff to Logan's to do some stuff, but we didn't really do anything. I don't want to practice, but I need to cause my lesson is tomorrow.

Logan also wants to jam sometime. When he heard the old stuff, he thought it was really cool, listening to me play drums, and got him psyched to jam and stuff. So we'll probably do that after he works on his garage more and cleans it up.

My sister is pretty fucking stupid. She doesn't eat when she needs to and it makes her sick, and she's still having pain from like when she had her gall bladder. She's not doing something right.

Gurps was pretty awesome yesterday. My character is getting more and more awesome.

I got pinball on my ipod. WOO!!! I love pinball! I was looking at the scores. Some people made it into the billions. Fucking bastards.

Highschool of the Dead is pretty awesome in color. Well, the manga. The show is in color.

Irredeemable and Incorruptible are ending next month! I sads.

Bill people for Matt called me again today. I am tired of it, so I gave them his number. Why should I fucking suffer? I shouldn't. Part of life is taking care of your own shit, and when he gets his job, he can take care of that. Also, he asked if he can borrow $10 yesterday. I said I didn't have the money. I do, but I don't want to give it to him. He already owes me a bunch of money, and I need mine for comics. Yes, I put comics in front of helping him out, but he hasn't paid me back at all due to no moneys, but I want comics. I'll lend him money when I know he can pay me back.

Maybe I should look for a new phone.

My guitar teacher wants me to practice my exercises for like 5 minutes each, minimum. That seems a bit excessive. Yeah, he's played years longer than I have, and a bajillion times better than me. But what will really help is me consistently practicing and just doing things. I will get better that way.

Somethings should be practiced for extended amounts of time. Alternate picking at fast speeds. Well, anything that requires endurance.

I don't know. There's a bunch of ways to go about it.

I need to play drums more, that will make me feel better.

You know, people sometimes think it's weird I don't drink. But mostly they are awesome and understanding and don't try to push me to drink.

Mostly my reason is I don't think you need to drink to have fun, but also, it's a bit of fear. I am pretty sure I have an addictive personality, and alcoholism runs on both sides of my family. Lindsay has proven that.

That and I'm poor as hell and I don't want to be hung over. I've seen what it does to people, and I have no sympathies.

Kinda getting back into Kingdoms of Amalur. Started my game over. Trying things a bit different.

I bought Alec new dice for Gurps. He was using pink ones that were doing horrible things.

Irredeemable and Incorruptible will be ending next month. Makes me sad. They are great comics. Mark Waid made the decision to end them, so at least it will be proper.

My sister is having her wisdoms taken out tomorrow. She has been uber fucking bitch lately. Maybe this will make her nicer, or at least shut up.

Mastodon's Crack The Skye is fucking amazing. It's favorite album from them. Just so brutal and beautiful at the same time.

This is more to help me think out my character in Gurps.

My character is a mercenary. A hired sword. Also, someone who didn't take shit in the past and has a bounty on his head for it. But lately, he's been cleaning up or doing other people's shit. Hardly anything by his own motivations. One person clearly is making stupid decisions, something that would have gotten him killed if it were in the past.

And after almost killing himself and causing a crew member on the airship to die, he has things to think about. Why it happened, what he needs to change, what he needs to do.

There is a way to do things, and they shouldn't be done stupidly. But let the stupid people off themselves.

Do what is necessary to survive.

Gain power.

Don't let anyone stand in his way.

I was just watching this and got into a conversation with my brother about starting out in video games.



These guys are really funny and stuff, but I'ma stay on topic.

I started out on the Game Boy. That was my thing for the longest time. Not really any games in particular stood out a lot. Tetris, Mario, Kirby Pinball. Eventually Pokemon. But that's where I started.

Then Michael came around and brought his NES and SNES. Super Mario Bros. 3, Zelda, Zelda A Link to the Past.

Sara got a Nintendo 64. Super Mario 3D, Zelda Ocarina of Time, Mario Kart,

Then MIchael got a Play Station. That's where I started to shift over to that. Gran Turismo, Tekken 3, Final Fantasy 7, Final Fantasy Tactics, Wipeout XL. Eventually got my own PS1.

PS2 came along, and I mainly played on my friend's until he gave it to me. Tekken Tag, Tekken 4, God of War. Those are the only ones I can think that really stick out.

And now I'm on PS3. Dragon Age, Mass Effect, Little Big Planet, Kingdoms of Amalur, Infamous, Mod Nation Racers. God of War.

So yeah. That's basically my history of gaming. Kinda fun to think back to those days.

What was your history like?

Fucking tired. I ripped up more carpet today. I was easier, but still fucking hard. I'll probably do it again next week. My left arm is sore, my hands were sore, but getting better. I fear for the next few days that my legs will suddenly get sore as hell also. Stupid carpet.

I ordered Skullkickers hardcover and it should be here Thursday. And and and and and and and!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HIGHSCHOOL OF THE DEAD OMNIBUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Amazon finally got more in. First I did a search and found some random online store that had it for like $43 or something. I was right about to order it when I decided to check Amazon and holy shit, they had it. I ordered it and thank god I did. I kept checking it cause I wanted to see how fast it would go. This afternoon it said they had 19 copies left, and just now it said 9 copies. 10 copies just gone like that. So glad I ordered mine. It should be here next week. WOO!!!

Helped out at the comic store a bit. Just for funsies, cause I sometimes like to help my friends out like that. Got some bags for my books I got signed, so now they are safe. And I got another new copy of Hack/Slash Omnibus 1 for readings. My shelf is gonna be sooooo full very soon. Skullkickers, HOTD Omnibus, and HOTD 3 and 4, cause I didn't think the omnibus would come back again.

Next priority: Legend of Drizzt Collector's Edition 3 and 4. My getting quite proud of my collection. It's not just a few books anymore. It's about to take up a full level on my shelf. This makes me happy.

I can definitely see myself buying tons and tons of comics and graphic novels when I get rich and famous.
