Wow. I finally finished the Dark Tower. Wow. I mean Holy Shit. That was quite an ending. Quite a fucking ending indeed.

In other news, I think the curse has lifted; my birthday was the apex. The wind has changed and things are heading my way. In the right direction. White over Red.

Except for when one of my wisdom teeth abcessed, swelled full of puss and exploded but actually I thought that was kind of cool. I'm morbid and macabre like that.

Unrelated, my wishlist is updated. its a pity you can't request absinthe and LSD on amazon.com

That series broke my heart
I couldn't finish the sixth it was so bad, forgot I hadn't finished it, bought the next one and can't finish it either.

I stopped reading when king wrote himself in as character. Then in the seventh suddenly the language is very different. Suddenly everyone talks with a heavy accent and so much slang.
I'm afraid to try to finish it. Maybe I should start at the begining again.

Doesn't it? I feel like this year has gone by really, REALLY fast. Or, rather, January-April were incredibly slow and depressing, and then all of a sudden everything started to go at super-speed.

Thanks, I like that photo. By the way I think if I eliminate the red paint and wings I'd still have a pretty good outfit for wearing to Bar Sinister the next time I'm in LA.
