Going to see the almighty Tool on the 19th and only about 7 weeks left of children until Sept. Can it get any better than this I think not.

OK just a handful of days left till spring break in which I will spend my time not on some tropical paradise but as a rightful lazy bastard and catch up on meaningless shit like video games sleeping and hanging out with friends and most of all no children to work my last f@##$$%^&**^ nerve.
PS-To all those Jews out there (me included) have a happy Passover and to the gentiles happy Easter.

So anyone in the area will know we just had almost 2 ft of snow over the weekend now I can't complain because it's been more like spring than winter this year. So if you had any doubts about the world coming to an end just look at some of the 60 degree days we had in January.
It's been a banner year and usually I would say this with a heavy lacing of sarcasm but I gotta say so far so good. I'm back on SG and next week @ CB's the mighty bad brains are playing with John Joseph singing lead because as many know HR is just kindof sad now so this show should be brutal hope to see everyone down there.According to the Chinese calender this is supposed to be my year so I will keep that in mind.

Just an add on to this entry: Saw the bad brains and the Leeway reunion was blown away I felt like a kid again. Also during one of the filler band's sets a most amazing thing happend Joan Jett got up on stage and played Bad Reputation the crowd and I were stunned and slackjawed. Remember when live music seemed to change your life. Feb break went to fast now I have almost 6 weeks until spring break I'll make it but barely.

First off I hope everyone had a great holiday in SG land for me it's been a rough couple of weeks so I am going to enjoy this time off with much sleep and videogamage. Went out on Fri to CBGB's to see some friends play NBASH annual reunion show and Joe Coffee to name a few. Saw alot of old school friends and it got me thinking of the old hardcore days and how much CB's was a big part of that. To those who don't CB's lost it's battle with the powers that be and will be closing it's doors permanantly on Oct 31 2006 and maybe its for the best shit changes and life for better or worse moves on.
On another possible sad note is that this may be my final entry my subscription is ending in a week or so and I am considering not renewing it for various reasons. I have enjoyed the years I've spent here and the outlet it has served and I'm grateful for your time and comments and wish you the best.
Happy New year & see you on the other side.

I suck at updating. Mainly because nothing much is going on work is good life is good no complaints.Went to Sayreville, NJ of all places to see my boys Fireball Ministry open up for CKY fun was had by all and they of course rocked. Hope all is well in the land of SG and I just want to take this time to say goodbye to some my favorite SG ladies who have left recently. Ceil, Apnea, Rapture, Delilah, Kerosene, Neko, MistiDawn,Shera, Monica you are gone but not forgotten. And thank god Cathedra came back.

Now many of you know or have heard by now that the institution that is CBGB's is on the verge of closing it's doors for good. As a person who has been going to the club since he was 14 it saddens me. Not only because I spent many of my formative years there going to hardcore shows, getting into fights and hanging out with friends; but it also shows the steady decline of any kind of scene or soul as far as music goes in NYC. Like the Marquee, Wetlands, the Ritz CB's is the last in a line of great clubs to disappear, swallowed by the monster which is NYU all for the sake of gentrification making "people" feel safer (Isn't that what the suburbs are for?). So wherever you are whatever you're doing raise a glass to the grandaddy of all clubs as it makes it's final farewell and catch a chance at seeing some of the greats as they play thier goodbyes over the next few weeks.

Sadly enough the summer is more than half way over and I'm still recovering from the last school year. I've really enjoyed this break to rest relax and finish my master's program yes it's official I'm a graduate. Outside of that nothing eventful going on enjoy those laat few weeks.

I just want to say thank you ladies for all the birthday wishes I am completely overwhelmed and it made my year. I got one class down and one to go and I'm done with my masters. Maybe next summer I can actually go on a vacation. So far the city's has been hot as shit so I hope everyone out there is keeping cool in her own personal way.
