I was getting bored of Banksy. The stencils have been copied so widely that their value is kind of diluted. The book Wall & Piece, while good is a bit too self-important. I'd rather the work there just spoke for itself without the need for some grandiose justification. Bored isn't really the word. Blase, maybe. (Except I don't seem to be able to put an accent over the 'e' so you might be wondering what I mean)
But the Paris Hilton thing... well, it's already old news but it's ace.

Is anyone else using Firefox to browse the internet. I am and today SG has gone all wrong. It was working fine and then all of a sudden, graphics started not appearing, Dotty was reduced to an actual dot and then finally it all seemed to go kaput.
I started using Forefox because it had less issues than Safari (I use a Mac and won't be using Explorer any time soon.) I've looked at loads of other sites today and none of them have an issue with firefox - only SG - and I can look at SG fine if I open up Safari... but I don't really want to have to open up a new browser whenever I want to come here.
This is what the site looks like on my desktop right now...
That's it... just a blank page, some links and half a picture. If I click on the half a picture of Anabel, a new page opens with almost the whole screen blank. If I scroll down I find the thumbnails from that set there but none of them are clickable links and the actual pictures are nowhere to be seen.
If you're a firefox user experiencing similar issues... do let me know. If you have a fix let me know also. Grrr. Oh well. Safari it is for now.
UPDATE: Ta to everyone who's offered advice on this, but just so you know it's now fixed thanks to some advice solicited from the 'Mac Users' group... there's an option 'Clear Private Data' under 'Tools' apparently. How my private data was corrupting it will remain a mystery to me.

I don't like Bank Holiday Mondays. It's a sequel to Sunday only without some of the cool Sunday stuff that happens round my way and no decent cafes open for a spot of lunch. Bah.
So I went away because I found myself really busy and basically had no time to ever be here. I came back because I suddenly found I had some time. Only I haven't really. Still... I'm here now.
Yup... in the last month I've hardly had a chance to show my face in these parts so I've decided to pull the plug... there's no point being a member of something if you're not able to get the benefits of membership.
I'll probably come back one day when I have more time... but as it stands my account will run out in mid July.

I think I might be leaving this place. I haven't been here for a very long time and while I enjoy what is here it doesn't seem to drag me back. Too much going on in life... no time for SG.
