it began at 10:30 pm in the flying j parking lot. i kissed my puppy goodbye...wondering if i was going to be coming back home to him.
Drove until 4AM. stayed in a hotel at the bottom of Ohio. I went to the biggest Flea market in my life that day. They had everything there you could ever think of it was absolutly amazing, but all I got was a pair of flip flops. I was not interested in anything else there. it was like a mini mall. they had everything. more new shit there than the bay city mall has ever.
After hanging out there we left and drove to Kentucky where I fell in love with the state and would consider living there in the future. I got a nice leather jacket from a bike shop. it is black with a purple rose on the back and i fell in love with it literally. i bought a ton of gifts for friends in family in Kentucky.
We drove straight through Tennessee, and North Carolina. Which was fine because Nashville is on the other side of the state than what we were on. North Carolina just looked boring...We were in a kind of a rush I suppose four days to drive through and see things I have never seen before. We picked the bike up at 2 PM today and headed towards Nashville. Can you believe it? We went 300+ miles out of the way just so I could say I have been to Nashville. there was a bad accident on our way through. the highway we got on took us into georgia and then to tennessee and back through georgia. when we entered tennessee again there was the accident. We know for a fact it involved a semi and a s10 pick-up with a camper. the s10 looked like a matchbox car that was convertibled. the semi had a gaurd rail through the engine and the trailer was hanging off the cliff. what a drive i had. I HAVE NEVER SEEN SO MANY COPS IN MY LIFE ON ONE HIGHWAY!!! I SAW MORE POLICE ON THAT HIGHWAY THEN I SEE IN A MONTH WHERE I LIVE!! We arrived safely in Nashville, Tennesee around 11pm there time midnight our time. We unloaded the motorcycle ( Honda, 1986, 9000 miles on it) and took it for a ride around the neighborhood. It was like driving through midland street in Bay City at night. I HAVEN'T SEEN A BUM IN MY LIFE AND GUESS WHAT? I GOT TO SEE A TON OF THEM. SLEEPING ON THE CURBS, ON STAIRS TO A CHURCH. Oh yeah what a trip so far. I am excited. In a few hours I will be dining at the hard rock cafe and shopping in downtown. I wish everyone close to me was here just so I could share the expeirence with them. I sure everyone would enjoy it as much as I have so far. I didn't get to lay on the beah like i had wanted to, but nashville is better than the beach. no lie. so tan or no tan i am a happy woman. I will have memories with me that I personally wouldn't change for anything. well goodnight my friends. loves ya and can't wait to get home to share more.
