One of my frogs just shed its skin. That is always are bizzare sight. And of course the other frog has to help. Looks like it ripped a tiny frog leg shaped stocking off of the first one. And then he ate it.
Working at the post office yesterday, I waited on a cute young girl wearing a sg tank top. i was going to ask here if she was a member, hopeful or sg, but I decided not to, because there were too many people around to do it discretely. I should have said the hell with it and done it anyway.
Just got done baking a key lime pie to take to the grandparents house tomorrow. Guess I'm all ready for Christmas!
Other than that, not much going on in my life. Been playing my cello a bit again.
Helping out with the local youth orchestra. We had a concert a couple of weeks ago.
I've been having a blast. I think I need to find a way to make it known about town that I am available to play again.

OK, bout time. (warning, picture heavy post)
I recently headed out west to see some stuff, so here is some of it:
On the way, windmills just west of Chicago:
Sadly, no hot naked chicks to be seen there. (wonder if anyone will get that?)
We stopped at the Corn Palace and Wall Drug:
We got to Mount Rushmore on Tuesday, it was mega foggy:
A Buffalo at Custer State Park:
In this shot from the High Plains Western Heritage Center, the mountain in the center is in South Dakota, the area to the left is Wyoming and to the right is Montana:
Old pony express exhibit at the heritage center:
Being a post office emloyee, I had to sneak that in!
(Also, these pics were all shot with my new 3D camera, this one looks really cool. If I ever get them converted to a format that can be viewed by most, probably red blue glasses, I will post them.)

On Thursday, we cut a few corners and managed to get back to Mount Rushmore:

On Friday we drove through the Badlands and stopped a few places to take pictures:

I was about 15 feet from that guy when I got this shot!!! The pics I got of the goat also look fantastic in 3D!!
Anywho, all sorts of fun was had, stuff was seen, souveniers were bought!

I have to remind myself the next time I go on vacation to take an extra week off of work after to catch up on life.
I went to Mt Rushmore the week before Memorial Day, and I still haven't had time to organize all my pictures and everything. I had a great time. Wish it had been longer. Will hopefully post a few pics sometime soon!

Still busy with work, been also busy working outside planting, getting ready for plants.
I have decided to become a plant person. It's the damn QVC I tell you....the all look so cool!!!!
Remind me to take pictures one of these days before the plants get big, so I can remember what they looked like when I first got them.
Getting ready for vacation next at the end of next week. Going to go see Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse and a bunch of other stuff out in that area.
I also have to remember to play around with my new camera a bit before I leave. Oh,,, and to get and SD card for it so it holds more than 7 pictures lol. I got a new camera, that shoots 3d pictures!!!!! It is pretty cool from what I have seen so far......but I do think some more practice would be good so I get some good shots of monuments and landscapes and the like.
Wow, that almost turned out to be a full fleged blog!!!!
I need to head back to work soon and I haven't even had a chance to check out any new sets yet :-(

Ok, wow, over a month and a half since I last blogged. I survived the holidays. Not actually much going on here. Had to take my car to the shop the other day. The awful grinding noise had shown up in the front again. I had just had the front hub bearings replaced last May and apparently got a bum one. Luckily it was under warranty so I got it replaced for free.
Had a rare Saturday off today, so I went out to a breakfast buffet then saw Megamind 3D at the dollar theater. Oddly enough it cost three dollars at the dollar theater. Must be the glasses.
Now I need to get back to the usual laundry, dishes, and catching up on the DVR.
