Also, I have noticed how ridiculous the border crossing tax is. Any time I've looked into going to Toronto it's always cheaper to fly into Buffalo and drive across, hell even cab across. I know Vancouverites often bus or train down to Seattle and fly out from there, so I imagine it goes both ways.

A flight from Portland to Vancouver is more expensive than a flight from Portland to Miami. And it's not like this is an unusual flight, PDX is used as a connecting hub to Vancouver anyway; it should be $69 not $394.

Dude! My friends have a dog just like Charlie with the same kind of issue. His name is Jack the jacked up Jack Russel Terrier but he is the best freaking dog in the world to play with. His back legs would run faster then his front legs when you got him really excited and we would set up toy bowling pins in the kitchen that he would love to run into and knock down.

Oh, and the words Thai and drunk never ever go well together (almost dry heaves at the thought).
