Got my raise a few days ago. Yeah I'm salary now. The raise equates to about $2 more an hour which isn't bad. And the more I think about it, the better I think salary will be for me. With the new person they hired, my tasks will be cut in half for the most part, which means I can take my time now and not rush my work. And they're now paying WAY MORE than my workload will be worth... Lol yeah, I'm fine with it. Just have to keep up appearances of workin my ass off lol.

In other news, I'd like a new computer. I bought the new star wars game and my computer just can't handle it. I need a new one anyways, it's about that time. So I was hoping to use my tax refund to buy one, so I did my taxes right away. Yyyeeeaaahhhhhhhh.... My federal refund is $2.00. Oh and I owe my "wonderfully" broke state $34.00. So no new computer for me just yet. I haz a sad

But aside from that, things are going pretty good. My mom is doing fine, and I'm going to start working on getting healthier myself. I need to buy some workout clothes, because I don't have any, but once I do, I'll start slow and walk a couple times a week. The app I'm using has a plan for me that if I keep under my calorie budget, I should reach my target weight in a little over a year.

So here's hoping the conspiracy theorists are wrong about 2012 being the end of the world, because it feels like the beginning of mine. I hope all is well in your worlds
