Do you worry about bird strikes when you fly?

This was a topic on the news this morning.

True story.

I have come to the conclusion that I am a very bad writer. Which then made me wonder what I am good at and what I am not good at. Lets just say the results were depressing.

So my flu finally went away after a week of hell. It feels so good to be healthy again. Now I'm stuck playing catch up with school and work.

I love school so much, but I really need a break. I didn't realize that all of my courses are at the highest level, so now I'm spending almost all of my free time in the library.

Up until a week ago I wasn't working that much, but now that I'm dating the bosses cousin she insists on me working as much as possible. I don't mind it. I can really use the money. I just hope it doesn't get in the way of my school work.

I miss my friends a whole fucking lot. It sucks not being able to go out for a drink and a chat. Anyway, I hope everyone is doing well, and is surviving this terrible cold weather. When I get my life back, I'll be sure to let you know.

I have the flu.


I feel like death.

So much time and so little to do. Strike that. Reverse it.

I'm so over the holidays already. Usually I'm excited and cheerful. This year it's all just a pain in the ass.

I went to see Twilight tonight with my best friend, and I must say I was a little disappointed. I was looking forward to a bit more eeriness. I really love gothic styles and edgier looks. This just seemed too eager to please the masses. Not a total loss though. Perhaps I am being too critical.

This Saturday, at the Orlando City Hall (along with areas all over the country), at 1:30pm, there will be a protest against Proposition 8. This is our chance to be heard and to try to help those that are being effected by this insane law. Please join me if you can.

Great news!

My brother agreed to get help for his drug issues...yay! He actually wants the help. Which I was so not expecting. Still going to keep a very close eye on him, just in case.

I finally get to have a normal day today! I'm off to look for a new job and to school to run some errands. Thanks for all of your support guys. Things are looking up.

My brother got into a really bad car accident on Wednesday. He avoided hitting someone by swerving off the road and hit a telephone pole head on. Luckily, he was wearing his seat belt, which saved his life, but it collapsed his lung. He was airlifted to the hospital, and after a small operation, is doing much better now. He should be released tomorrow or Saturday.

Unfortunately, this is his second time totaling a car, third time wrecking one, and I'm pretty damn sure it's due to drug addiction (nothing too serious as far as I can tell, but who knows). So for the next few days I will be working with my family trying to get him into a rehabilitation center (if we can convince him to go).

I know this is a very personal blog. I hope it is not to bothersome for some of you. I just needed an outlet. Wish me luck. I want to help my brother get better.

Well spank my ass and call me Charlie...I think my mom just bought a condo in NYC.
