Howdy All,
Well this is gonna be a kinda awkwardly jumbled entry but bear with me while I figure out exactly how I want to write these little tidbits.
This weekends anthem is, "Daylight" by Matt and Kim.

From the opening keyboard note to the anthemetic chorus of Matt's angsty, somewhat raspy voice,
there is a sense of yearning for some sort of alone time, some sort of Zion of relaxation and just a little bit of peace and quiet.
Matt uses solid, chords throughout the chorus to summon visions of angelic choirs of sorts.
But throughout the song the iconic chopsticks-esque keyboard pecking marches on, almost as a guide through this daydream.
Kim uses a very Hip-Hop drum beat as if to announce, "That's right, we ARE from Brooklyn, got a problem?!?"
Lyrically this song is as colorful as a Baskin Robbins freezer, but with more substance.
The second verse, "Slip and Slide on Subway Grates, these shoes are Poor Man's Ice Skates, fall through like Change In The Daylight."
To put it lightly, this song is an album, it has the power to evoke the full gamut of emotions, from Euphoria to pure utter Sadness.
It's one of those songs that come a long very very rarely that is a perfect beginning and ending to any day, everyday...
This is definitely a song that will be in my iPod for a long time to come and I can promise it is a song that will be a summary of a time in my life where I found that peace and quiet and was just able to be happy with the small things, it is Rule #32 remember...
Please check these guys out, They are going to blow up much bigger than I or anyone actually know!!!
