I had a pretty good time last night!
Megan and Nathan are good fun to hang out with - and everyone else was great too.

I'm still annoyed with work though..
I'm scheduled twelve days straight - and I just don't think that's going to help me feel any less burn out.

I love making coffee though.. I'm so torn. Coffee is so great. And I love steaming milk and making drinks and making people happy with tasty beverages - but I need to get out of the corporate atmosphere... but, apparently they are going to be making some changes to the company. They are even considering switching to manual machines. If they do - they will lose a lot of business.

Ah well.

well, hello little sg world.

it's been quite a while since i've posted here, yes?
many things have happened since i last posted, but i don't want to blabber about it all. my boy finally has a job though, so we'll be getting our own place soon, which i am so very excited about. if they made suicide girl posters we could hang them on our walls - that would be cool.

my job is dragging on me, i'm starting to feel miserable and down every time i go.
i love making coffee, i love coffee, but i don't want to be in the store i'm in.

i'm thinking of going down the one local coffee shop here and see if they are hiring, it would be a great experience - perhaps they'd even allow me to have facial piercings and dyed hair. i really hate how the world is still quite biased on allowing body modification in the work place - it does not hinder my ability to work hard - in my opinion, it would make me happier to be working if i could just be myself in my work environment.

i think when it comes time for college though, i'll be going to portland, or.
i think, but i'm so wishy-washy with my decisions, so who knows.

so this is the last time i'll be on here for a while! well, not SUPER long, but! i'll have much better things to be doing than being on a computer. (: i'm leaving today for omaha to meet with steven, staying there a few days, staying here a few days, then we're off to alabama. i'm so excited about everything, it feels like i've been waiting forever for this!

my laptop is basically dead now. x: sent it in to get fixed, a new dc jack and whatever. they called me back, 143 bucks, alright, can do, right? they call the next day, and now the motherboard wont connect to whatever, and it'd be 800/900 bucks to fix. um, no?

needless to say! i'm not happy about that. and my little external harddrive with ALL my stuff on it wont work anymore, so i have to find someone to get that off there. and i get a new one with my warranty, but you can only get the stuff removed by certain companies to not void your warranty.

i wasn't going to reactivate my account until i left, but damn myspace had a tempting offer for a cheap year, so i went for it. damn you ladies! always tempting me! haha. oh well.

i'm meeting steven in omaha on the 15th, finally! i'm so excited!!! i can't even begin to tell you how excited i am! we're staying there for a few days and then here for a few days, and then i'm off moving to alabama to live with him. how awesome is that? my last day of work is the 11th! which means i can dye my hair again. (: (expand for pictures!!!)

so, due to an income of birthday monies, i spent a little more than half on my camera. my lovely little nikon d70. i'm really really excited! i could have easily spent more! but i'm saving moniessss. (what for? secret! )


i got...

the nikon 50mm f/1.8D lens. (it's so little compared to my other!)
a spare battery. (yay, i use it up too fast!)
a polarizing filter.
a camera bag.
and three used "bargain" filters.


there's still lots i want, but this is by far one of the best purchases and investments i've made. (: i 'll be good for a while. i definitely need the 18-55mm or 18-70mm, and later on a macro lens would be delicious.

i want to be sleeping right now, but i kept waking up, having bad dreams, and just feeling sick, overall. i didn't go to bed in a happy state, so that probably doesn't help. i'm trying not to be too mad, i will be less mad by morning... or whenever i finally get my rest in.

the "amore, more, ore, re" saying i was going to get tattooed on the back of my neck, i think i want it on my wrist now. i was bored earlier in the night, and wrote it on there with one of my pens.. i think it looks pretty cool. 'cept. yeah. i need a wider lens, because, i had to reflect my arm in the mirror so i could take a picture of it.
