Finally finished moving in to my place. A permanent place. Sure, I'm not living with one of my best friends anymore, but at least I know where I'll be for at least the next 6months. Spent last weekend helping my other old friend move as well. So now I have a bunch of good long term friends living within 10 minutes of me.
Freaking busy life. Work, Comedy, helping people move, editing that movie, all while still learning the city. Need to put more focus on the comic book's website design.
And maybe get myself more dates. Seriously, I'm in a beautiful city with beautiful people and lots of things to do...

Saw In Flames last night. I think the last concert I saw was Muse 2 years ago, and Muse did not have a pit.
While the concert rocked, I went for the pit. Its always fascinating to see such outright aggression, but as soon as a man's down, everyone is right there to protect him. The amount of camaraderie there is when the goal is to throw yourself in a violent fit against others is just surprising, and amazing. One moment punches are being thrown, next we're hugging and patting each other on the back complimenting the other.
It was awesome to do that again. I'll have to look out for more up here in Portland. But maybe after I heal up some. Busted my lip on some girl's skull, and I think I bruised some ribs. It was wicked smart of me to do that when I'm moving tomorrow. I'm going to be groaning with every lift, and I'm going to love it.

This internship is great, but its not really paying the rent...with the entire not paying me money. And seeing as they just mass fired a bunch of employees, my hopes of getting hired when I'm done interning got flushed down the toilet.
Anyone in the LA, preferably North Hollywood, area like to point to a good place to get hired? I'd prefer not food services, because I've done that and its just too high stress for me (especially seeing as I might have two jobs at a time). But anything else would be grrrreat.
