Saw In Flames last night. I think the last concert I saw was Muse 2 years ago, and Muse did not have a pit.
While the concert rocked, I went for the pit. Its always fascinating to see such outright aggression, but as soon as a man's down, everyone is right there to protect him. The amount of camaraderie there is when the goal is to throw yourself in a violent fit against others is just surprising, and amazing. One moment punches are being thrown, next we're hugging and patting each other on the back complimenting the other.
It was awesome to do that again. I'll have to look out for more up here in Portland. But maybe after I heal up some. Busted my lip on some girl's skull, and I think I bruised some ribs. It was wicked smart of me to do that when I'm moving tomorrow. I'm going to be groaning with every lift, and I'm going to love it.
