Stick to silliness my friend. This site is not a place for intelligent discourse. Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of intelligent people here, but the idiots vastly outnumber us. They're all too busy trying to ram their ignorant, close-minded opinions down everybody else's throats, or attacking somebody for a view they don't agree with to actually listen to anything anybody else has to say and discuss it intelligently. I think the real reason your article didn't get a whole lot of traffic was that it was placed in Lifestyle. I'm pretty sure Lifestyle is where news threads go to die.

It was probably the word evangelical that turned people away.....so much less sexy than shooting people and so much less rife for debate. I think at most you would get a bunch of people agreeing wih you on your article and that doesn't seem to be what forlks are necessarily interested in doing in CE.

I wrote one years ago when Artie Shaw died which wason\noncontroversial and got posted, and then another when former Governer Jeb Bush (yes, the President's broher) got away with metaphorically spitting at Federal Supreme Court Judges and unprotecting 200+ polluted waterways, and it didn't get 'published' (and although it might be deemed 'controversial' to Bush people it was all a matter of public record, so . . . anyway, at leasdt yours got posted! Congrats on that.
