Is luck usually on your side then?
"Do you feel lucky?... well, do ya?...Punk!"
So, having career as a superstar graphics/illustration girl isn't enough eh?
When I was growing up as a kid, gambling surrounded me. I have vivid memories of me and my cousin sneaking into the back room of somewhere where my granddad, old uncles and their friends would play cards on a classic round table with a light hanging above in the middle (just like in those gangster movies... I suppose Greeks aren't that different from Italians )...and we used to crawl under the table real quietly, above us only the cloud of cigar smoke and the sounds of shuffling cards and loose change penetrating the dimly lit darkness. We would sit there and wait, until the odd coin would fall off the table to the floor and we would see who was quickest at getting it. I always won
As I got older, I got really good at certain games which required more than just the 'luck' part. I had a good fast brain then. Again I'd usually win. But me being me moved on to something else pretty quick once I got good at it, as there were always more challenges of things to learn. I was a knowledge hungry kid.
Now, I've forgotten all of the gambling stuff, like I never knew it in the first place.
Typical... I could actually use it right now!
A guy I work with just recently called that ( 1-800-bets off ) He had an evaluation with a counselor, and she told him that her oppinion was that he wasn't ready to quit and she was afraid he would start a worse addiction.
