Holy hell. After this non-stop rush of activity for the last 2 months, I need a day of down-time.

So instead I beat the punching bag and clean house. Think I may have to hang at the Boxcar to chill out for real.

Slamming 5 GaiWan of tea hasn't helped even a little. A full pitcher of genmaicha made a tiny dent.

I may do some yoga and aerobics or at least go beat the shit out of my punching bag.

I also need to study. Dammit dammit dammit.

Got to sleep at 8AM today.

Had dim sum at doong kong lau at 2PM. Very good.

Got the Boondocks season 1 on DVD and The Last Dragon.

She's with me 'till 3AM two days in a row. I wake at 630 as usual. Gads. Tired.

Whee. First actual Japanese class last night. Way fun. I find I am slightly advanced for it, but at least the written part is entirely new to me. Another one tomorrow. We shall see how that goes.

Back in the USA.

This time I didn't tone my appearance down one bit for the customs people. Last time I came back from ROC, they fucked with me endlessly. So bad, I thought I was going to get arrested or end up on the do-not-fly list. That time I was pretty square looking on purpose. Don't want no shit, don't bring no shit, know what I mean? It helped fuckall. This time I went expecting it and I decided if I am going down, I am going down swinging (metaphorically) and the funny thing is that nobody said 'boo'.

Fuck it.

Chuck Palahniuk is so fucking rad.

Both the stories and the 100 shot-bottles and body parts thrown to the audience make this cat more of a rock star than your average bookish-type.

It made the zoo that is bumbershoot tolerable. Well, too bad he's not there again tomorrow

Busy Busy Busy

On Tuesday went to Purple. Nice place. Met a really cool woman who lived in Japan for a while so we compared notes and discussed film (her major).

Another good dork night on Wed. Also saw Decemberists. Too many bloody jocks there, but still a great show. Got a massage and checked out pictures of my masseuse on the road (in their plane) with a very well known band.

Thursday I climbed my ass off.

Contemplating what the hell to do this weekend.

Dork Night was insane.

The cards everyone wrote up for 1000 Blank Cards were so funny that my head hurts from laughing so much.

Merritt gets an award...I'll let him explain why.

Next week should be pretty trippy if things keep escalating like this.

Lots more space in the house now. I am now 99.9% drama free.
